Soon after Gauahar and Zaid had officially announced their relationship to the world, her mother-in-law, Farzana had welcomed her bahu with love and open arms. On November 6, 2020, Gauahar's mom-in-law, Farzana had taken to her Instagram handle and had penned a lovely note for her daughter-in-law. Farzana had shared pictures from Gauahar's birthday. Alongside it, she had written, "Welcome to our Family. Also congratulations to you too @zaid_darbar @gauaharkhan. All my blessings, love & support is always with you. Stay happy."
On January 14, 2021, Gauahar Khan’s saasu maa, Farzana turned a year older and the new bahu showered love on her. Taking to her IG stories, Gauahar shared two pictures with her mother-in-law. In the first picture, we can see Gauahar wearing a yellow dress and hugging her saasu maa, who looked beautiful in a blue saree. Sharing this picture, Gauahar wrote, “MY SWEETEST COOLEST MOMINLAW” with ‘Happy birthday’ gif atop it. In the second picture, we can see Gauahar hugging her saasu maa, who can be seen giving her a peck on the cheek. In the picture, the two twinned in the shades of green as Gauahar wore the green suit gifted to her by her sister, Nigaar Khan and Farzana ji wore a green sharara suit with booti work over it. She wrote, “THE YOUNGEST LOVELIEST MOM IN LAW EVER” with ‘Happy Birthday’ and ‘Love you’ gif atop it.
Even a day before her wedding, Gauahar’s sasural waale had showered her with love. Taking to her IG stories, Gauahar had shared the thoughtful gift, she had received from her sasural to vanish away the fear and nervousness. On her IG stories, Gauahar had shared a picture wearing a bathrobe gifted to her by her sasural waale. Sharing the picture, she had written, “Thank u my sasural for this thoughtful gift” atop it. In the other story, Gauahar had shared a glimpse of the foil balloon bouquet she had received from her hubby-to-be, Zaid Darbar, which had ‘I love you’ written over it. Sharing the picture, Gauahar had written, “@Zaid_Darbar thank you for making me the happiest bride ever! #Alhamdulillah” atop it. As the actress had returned home after her first post-wedding shoot, she was bestowed with an angelic treatment. Taking to her IG stories, Gauahar had shared a Boomerang, where she could be seen dressed in blue joggers and white top and her in-laws had turned her into a fairy by adding shimmery fairy wings to her.
