Gauahar Khan is living the most beautiful phase of her life. The diva is soaring high on her personal as well as the professional front. After working on blockbuster projects, the diva is all set to ace the role of a host on the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. Apart from her professional life, the gorgeousness is currently busy fulfilling her mommy duties. For the unversed, Gauahar Khan welcomed her first child, Zehaan, with her husband, Zain Darbar, on May 10, 2023. Now, the actress opened up about receiving hate for her postpartum weight.
In a candid conversation with India Today, Gauahar Khan opened up about how she was subjected to people's opinions about her postpartum weight. Talking about the same, the actress shared that she received a lot of hate for her weight loss and gain on social media. Gauahar mentioned that she naturally lost around 10 kgs in the first month post giving birth to her son, Zehaan. In her words:
"How do I care? I lost weight naturally first of all. Within the first one month, I had already lost like 10 kgs that is not going to show immediately."

Further, Gauahar mentioned that it gets difficult for new moms to lose weight as they are breastfeeding and cannot go on a strict diet. The actress added that despite everything, people on the internet are harsh, and she keeps reading one or the other comment on her weight loss journey. Mentioning that she doesn't care about the negative things in her life, Gauahar said:
"After that it gets difficult and then you start working out. Because you are breastfeeding, you cannot even diet so much. But I feel people are harsh on social media. Even now, I read somewhere, one user wrote, she had lost weight, now what happened? It is not magic. You have brought another life into the world, but honestly, I don't care about anything being said other than the good stuff. I am never going to put my energy into what negative people say because it is not worth it."
Earlier, during an Instagram live session, Gauahar Khan opened up about her motherhood journey. Reflecting on the same, the actress revealed that she gave birth to her baby boy, Zehaan through a C-section delivery because of her medical condition. During the same session, the actress also got candid about her postpartum weight and mentioned that she doesn't want to be hard on herself. Gauahar also advised new moms to opt for light workouts and do yoga.

On May 24, 2023, Gauahar had taken to her IG stories and shared a mirror selfie of herself. In the picture, she could be seen flaunting her postpartum glow. Moreover, Gauahar looked stunning as she donned a cream-hued night suit and left her tresses open. However, it was her stunning transformation that left everyone's jaws dropped. Sharing the picture, atop it, the doting mommy penned a note and revealed that she lost 10 kgs of weight within ten days of her delivery.
