Popular actress, Gauahar Khan had lost her father, Zafar Ahmed Khan, earlier this year on March 5, 2021, and had dealt with the loss of her dearest daddy with a lot of courage and patience. The actress was extremely close to her father, and it was heartbreaking for her to digest that her abba is no longer with her. After the tragic phase, just when Gauahar had thought she could have a breather, the actress had tested positive for COVID-19 and was in home isolation.

On May 16, 2021, Gauahar Khan took to her Instagram handle and shared three breathtaking pictures of her, wearing a traditional salwar kameez, gajra in her hair, and long earrings. In the pictures, Gauahar looked gorgeous as ever, and her new bride glow can also be seen in the photos. Along with the pictures, Gauahar penned a short note in the caption and revealed that she finally got a chance to feel like a 'newly-wedded bride' once again, after a long period of chaos amid multiple personal crises. Her note can be read as "Finally getting time n opportunity to feel like a newly wedded bride. #Ramadan2021 I allowed myself to be OKAY ! Been thru a roller coaster ride of emotions last 2 months . Gauahar Khan had also celebrated her first Eid in her sasural on May 15, 2021, and had delighted her millions of fans with two lovely pictures from the same day with her husband, Zaid Darbar. In the pictures, the madly-in-love couple had looked out of this world in their respective attires. While, on one side, Zaid had looked handsome in his cream-coloured kurta-jacket and pyjama. On the other side, Gauahar had looked lovely in her blue coloured kurta and yellow plazzo, which was nothing less than a work of art.
