Gauahar Khan had started her career as a model and later, she had become a household name when she had won the trophy of the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 7. The gorgeousness had tied the knot with the love of her life, Zaid Darbar, on December 25, 2020. For the unversed, the couple had crossed paths with each other at a grocery shop during the lockdown, and this is how their sweet love story had begun.
Now, in a recent interview with a leading news portal, Gauahar Khan and her hubby, Zaid Darbar opened up about their life post-marriage and shared why they had got married within a time span of three months. The actress recalled her modelling days and revealed that people used to call her boring. The couple also talked about their plans to embrace parenthood.

In an interview with ETimes, Gauahar Khan and her husband, Zaid Darbar talked about some of the interesting aspects of their married life with each other. Talking about their nikaah, Gauahar shared that people would ask them why they were in so much rush to get married and added that her late father was destined to see their wedding and bless them. In her words:
"People would often ask us, why are you guys in a rush to get married. Itni kya jaldi hai ke 3 Mahine mein Shaadi karni hai, that time we did not realise why we were in a rush. Now when we think we realise that my dad was destined to be and see our wedding that’s the reason we were pushing it to happen early. Until that time we didn’t know that my father was sick. It was my dad’s prayers and it was meant to be."
Gauahar also revealed that her hubby, Zaid had got emotional at their nikaah ceremony and shared that she was also crying because her brother and sister couldn't be a part of her wedding festivities. Recalling the moment when the parda between them had fallen down, Gauahar shared:
"Whenever I used to show him any video of a groom crying for his bride, he would laugh. But during our wedding his entry was first and he sat on his spot, and I had no idea because he was sitting on the other side and between us there was a parda and I sat on the other side. I was already crying because my brother and sister couldn’t attend my wedding. I sat and tried to peep on to the other side of parda and saw him wiping tears. I was shocked and the moment the parda fell down and we saw each other in the mirror, he was crying and I started laughing and crying both looking at him."

Ever since Gauahar and Zaid had tied the knot, their fans are eagerly waiting for their favourite couple to announce the good news. Now, in the same interview, Gauahar revealed that they want to have a baby and added that there is no pressure from her in-laws. Sharing that last year was super hectic for her, Gauahar said:
"I do want to have a baby inshallah, we do want to. My last year has been super hectic, I didn’t see Zaid enough during that year. There was constant shooting happening. Now, whenever the almighty blesses us, Inshallah we will start a family. We don’t have any plans that we don’t want to do for the next two years, three years, plus aisa bhi nahi hai that I have any pressure from in-laws or my mother. When God wills inshallah we will have a baby."
Further in the interview, Gauahar talked about her modelling days and revealed that her industry friends used to calll her boring as she didn't party. She also revealed that after 2009, she has been working every day of her life. She concluded:
"I have so many friends from the modelling industry, they would tell me “chal Gauahar let’s party” and I would say no, they would call me boring. But that’s fine, I never ever felt bad about it or they were doing something wrong. Because it was my choice and that was theirs. I loved spending time with my mom, family and I have been like that since the beginning. I would say after 2009, I don’t remember a single day when I was not working or I didn’t have something to do regarding work or family."
