Newlyweds, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar had welcomed the New Year 2021 in the most beautiful manner. On January 1, 2021, Gauahar Khan had shared some lovely pictures with her husband, Zaid Darbar. Alongside the pictures, Gauahar had written a cheeky caption, which could be read as "Happy 2021 to all, from the Happiest people of 2020. #Alhamdulillah. @zaid_darbar."
A few moments ago, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar were spotted at the airport twinning in blue and grey, holding each other's hands as they posed for the cameras. The couple looked dapper in black shades as they headed off to an undisclosed location. Check out the video below:
For the uninitiated, Gauahar Khan had gotten hitched to Zaid Darbar on December 25, 2020. For the nikaah, Gauahar had glowed in a white sharara suit with golden self-work on it for the nikaah, while Zaid had gone for a white bandhgala sherwani with a white stole. Together, the couple had looked like a match made in heaven! On their walima, Gauahar had donned a beige lehenga ornated with gold neckpieces and had looked every bit royal, radiating bridal glow. Her shauhar, Zaid looked dapper in a black tuxedo. In one of the walima pictures, we could see the bride lifting her shauhar in her arms.
Shortly after the wedding, Gauahar Khan had bumped into her ex, Kushal Tandon in a flight. On December 27, 2020, Kushal had shared some video clips of his sweet accidental meet-up with his ex-girlfriend. In the videos, Kushal could be heard saying, "I met my sweet old friend, who has just got married and is sitting next to me. I'm not stalking her. I'm going to my hometown for a shoot." The actor had also complimented Gauahar and had added, "I'm so happy and she's looking so pretty. Meet Gauahar Khan. Shayad muje aapko asliyat main mubarak baat deni thi." On December 28, 2020, the newlyweds, Gauahar and Zaid had shared first post-wedding pictures on their respective IG handles. In the pictures, Gauahar and Zaid could be seen twinning in grey, with wifey and hubby written on their respective t-shirts. Gauahar had looked gorgeous in her mehendi clad hands, mangalsutra and her huge engagement ring had stolen all our attention. In one of the pictures shared by Gauahar, she had blushed while posing with her hubby, Zaid as she could be seen covering her face, and thus giving a glimpse of her huge ring. Sharing the pictures, both Gauahar and Zaid had added a heart emoticon in their captions.
In an interview with ETimes, Zaid Darbar's father, Ismail Darbar had talked about his son, Zaid Darbar's marriage and had revealed that he is happy to see his son having a life-partner like Gauahar. The music director had also recalled a beautiful incident from the wedding, when his bahu, Gauahar's mother, Razia Zafar Khan had asked Ismail saab to take care of her daughter. On this, Ismail saab had said, "She (Razia ji) told me meri beti ka khayyal rakhna. I told her that aap ki beti itni kaabil hai ki woh mere poore parivaar ka khayyal rakhegi."
