Gandhi Talks, starring Vijay Sethupati, Aditi Rao Hydari and Arvind Swamy hit the theatres on January 30, 2026, and within a few hours, it managed to grab attention with his unique and engaging narrative. For the unversed, it is a silent film, which tells the story of an unemployed man, a struggling businessman and a local thief. Gandhi Talks is an interesting silent film, which depends on visuals, expressions, background music and emotions. The film revolves around three individuals, who are from different backgrounds. First is a businessman (Arvind Swamy), who is going through deep personal losses. Secondly is an unemployed person (Vijay Sethupathi), who can't find a job. Lastly is a thief, who represents the world of crime. Aditi Rao Hydari plays the role of Vijay's love interest. The movie explores the chaos that happens when the lives of these four characters collide with each other.

Recently, a report by OTTPlay confirmed that the silent film, directed by Kishor Pandurang Belekar will stream on the OTT platform, Zee5 after its theatrical run. It is worth mentioning that the OTT release date has not been revealed; however, multiple reports claim that the silent movie is expected to stream on Zee5 by late February 2026 or early March 2026. The audience will have to wait to know the exact OTT release date of Gandhi Talks.

Recently, the director of the film, Kishor Pandurang Belekar opened up about the film, Gandhi Talks and revealed the reason behind it being a silent movie. For those who do not know, Kishor Belekar is well known for films like Yeda, Sa Sasucha and more. Talking about Gandhi Talks, he was quoted as saying:
"The film is silent because there is a lot of noise in money, power, and influence. We have created characters who are very honest and walk on the path of truth. That is why the film is silent."

Apart from the director of the movie, actor, Arvind Swamy also spoke about the silent film, during a candid conversation with Mid-Day. He had shared that the biggest plus point of the film is its silence. He revealed that in a world full of noise, silence reveals the truth in this film. Further, he had mentioned that the music in the film is its language. In his words:

As soon as the film was released in theatres on January 30, 2026, multiple users took to their X handles (formerly Twitter) to share their reviews of the silent movie.
