The story of Gandhi Talks revolves around 'Mahadev' (played by Vijay Sethupathi), who is unemployed and is searching for a job. However, he fails repeatedly. He then crosses paths with a wealthy businessman, 'Boseman' (played by Arvind Swami) and a thief. Aditi Rao Hydari plays the role of 'Liar', the love interest of 'Mahadev'.
