Frédéric Fekkai and Libet Johnson's whirlwind romance
Frédéric Fekkai has been married twice. However, his most public romance has been with the baby powder heiress. Yes, we are talking about the daughter of Robert Wood Johnson III and Betty Wold Johnson, the former president of the Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Corporation. Elizabeth Ross 'Libet' Johnson crossed paths with Frédéric Fekkai around the early 2000s.
While details of their first meeting are not widely known, their romance began to capture the attention of New York society and the tabloids around 2000. Soon enough, rumors hit the mill that they were planning on tying the knot. However, by mid-2001, the wind had changed, and reports alleged that Frédéric Fekkai had moved out of Libet Johnson's Trump International apartment.
According to New York magazine's weekly edition, sources close to the two alleged that Frédéric Fekkai packed his bags and moved out of the Johnson & Johnson millionaire's spacious Trump International apartment and back into his Upper East Side digs. However, soon after, Frédéric denied the rumors, saying he was still with Libet Johnson. The rumors died at the time, but by 2002, there was no denying their split.
Reasons for the possible breakup were never made public. However, high-society opinions alleged that it had to do with Libet Johnson's behavior. A socialite at the time alleged that Libet was extremely difficult, while others blamed their busy schedules for their breakup. Meanwhile, another alleged that their strong personalities clashed a lot, which led them to split.
While Frédéric Fekkai went on to marry Shirin von Wulffen and then Elizabeth Shiell-Fekkai, both of whom he divorced, Libet Johnson got married five times before passing away in 2017.
What happened between Frédéric Fekkai and Jeffrey Epstein?
Frédéric Fekkai has been accused of grooming girls to look "as young as possible" for the billionaire and facilitating his crimes. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, seven different alleged victims claim they were sent to Frédéric for salon services that were dictated by Jeffrey Epstein. The complaints took direct jabs at the hairstylist, alleging that "Fekkai groomed the victims to look as young as possible under Epstein's direction."
The court document further alleged that Jeffrey Epstein would direct Frédéric Fekkai to "bleach victims blond and groom them like dolls to Epstein's and others' liking." The report came just a day after Rep. Thomas Massie issued a statement listing the names of several people, including Frédéric. According to the report, the list alleges that he "should be investigated and prosecuted" in connection with their alleged Epstein dealings.
Thomas Massie also alleged that he has begun to get signatures for a petition to force a vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act II. According to reports, the plaintiffs are going after Frédéric Fekkai for allegedly violating the Gender-Motivated Violence Act, and they are seeking unspecified damages.
