They say, motherhood can change your life. We say, the very experience of going through the process which leads to childbirth, itself teaches you and preps you up for life’s new innings. Soon-to-be mommy, Surveen Chawla too, must be all geared-up for experiencing parenthood with her hubby, Akshay Thakker. From flaunting her baby bump in shows and events to her gorgeous maternity shoots, Surveen Chawla has surely raised the bar of celebrity glamour quotient high. On February 23, 2019, the Hate Story 2 star took to Instagram and posted a series of pictures from an award show. Decked in all-blue, Surveen looked beautiful! Sharing the series of pictures, this is what the actress wrote, “Electric yet Simplistic but Dramatic still Romantic...Magnetic is Characteristic when it’s Minimalistic though Artistic...#Realistic For #nykaafeminabeautyawards2019.” Here is a picture from the lot:
And now, Surveen took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures from her godh bharai (baby shower). Dressed in a yellow saree, pink blouse, heavy pearl necklace and jhumkas, the soon-to-be mommy looked a million dollars! What further accentuated her look was her neatly tied flower-adorned bun, small pink bindi and the pregnancy glow on her face. Sharing the pictures, Surveen wrote, “The Godh Bharai" for the little angel... A very very very special and big thank u to the following wonderful people for putting this memorable evening together”. She also tagged all the people who helped her in looking this beautiful and also arranging the ceremony.
Sharing another set of pictures from the baby shower ceremony with the same look, Surveen wrote, “What joy looks like..... Beautiful jewellery by @satyanifinejewels.” While that was all about her traiditonal look, what looks like it, the pretty mommy-to-be had later on, changed to a sexy orange off-shoulder maternity dress which she teamed-up with similar jhumkas. Amazing is the word in here, right? By the way folks, do you remember Surveen’s unique way of sharing the news of her pregnancy with her fans? Posting a picture of a framed photograph of herself with hubby Akshay Thakker, and two tiny red baby shoes kept infront of it, this is what the Parched star wrote, “Life happens when it chooses to happen, when it wants to happen. And it is happening right now in this very moment, making our blessed and beautiful world even more blessed than what it already is! Yes, there is a miracle taking place, a miracle called life! And we are growing by two little teeny-weeny feet!! @akshaythakker.”
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Surveen got all candid about her mood swings, pregnancy feeling and how her husband, Akshay, is taking care of his wifey. Calling him the most amazing dad-to-be, the mommy-to-be stated, “Both of us have been supporting each other in different ways. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. He is absolutely wonderful and he is one of those who without saying, jumps on to taking responsibilities. There's nothing more, that I could have asked for. There is pampering, he takes my mood swings and he is just the most amazing to-be-dad.”
Sharing her excitement upon embracing motherhood, Surveen shared, “You know the idea of it being just beautiful is not true. It's actually a rollercoaster ride for every woman, but a beautiful one. Having said that, the real beautiful experience will begin when the special little one is in your arms when not just the baby but a new you will be born. I can foresee that happening. She had further added, “You know nothing and then when the time comes, you know it all. I think the moment he or she is out in the world, that would be the real turning point - the moment of truth, the moment of change. Your body will just produce the right hormones for you to feel that your world is in our arms. This is what I make of experiences that women have had and I am looking forward to mine.”
