Shakira wore a custom Roberto Cavalli outfit designed by the brand's creative director, Fautso Puglisi. It had more than 200,000 Swarovski crystals, an exclusive sunset print and couture details that had taken more than three weeks to create. Shakira had taken to her social media handle to share unseen pictures wearing the outfit and wrote:

Shakira shimmered under the stadium lights and did the most effortless dance. Her hip-shaking dance in the two-piece, crystal-covered bodysuit featured a dramatic fringed skirt. It was in the colours of orange and yellow and featured a custom Ray of Sunset print which was reportedly inspired by Roberto Cavalli’s iconic Ray of Gold motif.

The skirt worn by Shakira reportedly had a traditional moulage technique and was completed with satin embroidery, chiffon strips coupled with fringe detailing.

Some netizens were not happy with the way the snaps were taken. One Redditor wrote, "I think the outfit looks beautiful on the performance but doesn't photograph well?
