Gerard Piqué’s girlfriend has been active in a different field
Clara Chia Marti has kept a low profile, deleting all of her public social media accounts after she was suddenly pushed into the spotlight. The 23-year-old is from Spain and is said to be studying public relations at a well-known private university.
She works at Kosmos, the sports and entertainment company founded by Gerard Piqué, where she helps organize events, which is likely how the two first crossed paths. Some reports say her father is a civil lawyer, suggesting she grew up in an affluent family. Other reports claim the opposite, that she worked various part-time jobs from a young age to support herself and pay her way through college.
Piqué and Martí were first linked just months after his split from Shakira was announced. In the summer of 2022, they were seen together at Summerfest Cerdanya. Photos from the festival showed them standing among the crowd, with Piqué’s arm around Martí as they shared a kiss. Not long after, the two turned up at a wedding in Catalonia. They arrived together, walked in arm-in-arm, and spent the event chatting and laughing with other guests.
A year later, in 2023, they were photographed again, this time over lunch in Barcelona. Both were dressed in matching navy looks for the casual outing. Despite being together for less than a year, they’ve already done quite a bit of traveling. Besides spending time in Spain, they’ve also been to France and the Czech Republic. In Paris, they were spotted with a group of friends, exploring the city on electric scooters.
During their visit to Prague, Gerard’s family joined them. Reports noted that Piqué’s brother Marc and his wife Maria were also on the trip. The group was seen leaving a Marriott hotel together.
Piqué made the romance official in January 2023, just days after BZRP Music Session #53 came out. He posted a close-up selfie of himself and Martí cuddling. There was no caption, but the post quickly filled with comments and speculation. Gerard shared another post a few months later in May 2023. It was another selfie, where the two were sitting together with their cheeks touching.

Shakira and Piqué first met in 2010 on the set of Waka Waka (This Time for Africa), Shakira’s official song for the FIFA World Cup. Piqué appeared in the video as a Spanish player. They confirmed they were dating in 2011 and quickly became one of the most talked-about couples in sports and music.
By 2012, they were living together in Barcelona. Over the next 10 years, they built a life and family in the city. They welcomed two sons and were often seen supporting each other. Piqué also attended a few of Shakira’s concerts and tours. They traveled together, did interviews as a pair, and were frequently called a power couple bridging Latin pop and European football.
In June 2022, after 11 years together, they announced their separation and asked for privacy for their children. Following the split, Shakira released BZRP Music Session #53, a track that is widely interpreted as being about the separation.
