Fashion blogger and author, Lauren Scruggs needs no introduction. The 35-year-old Californian received much love for her books and sartorial statements. However, her propeller accident also greatly impacted her personal and professional life. For the unversed, Lauren ran into an accident in 2011 when she walked into a spinning aeroplane propeller, severely injuring her left arm and making her left eye go blind.
Lauren is a fighter who bounced back to life and led it beautifully by never letting her shortcomings come her way. She got married to the love of her life, Jason Kennedy, in 2014. Jason is a renowned entertainment journalist, and the couple was blessed with a baby boy, Ryver, in 2022.

A little over a year after welcoming their son, Ryver, into the world, Lauren Scruggs and Jason Kennedy embraced parenthood for the second time with their daughter, Poppy. The couple took to Instagram to share the good news of their princess’ arrival in the world with the cutest caption. Their caption can be read as:
"I'm sure your feed could use some good news today. We wanted to share that our angel, Poppy Ford Kennedy, arrived on 10-10 and she's giving all of you a big hug right now.”
The couple even share two adorable yet raw pictures of their daughter, Poppy. In the first photo, the newborn is seen sleeping in her crib. She had a pacifier in her mouth, and the angel is sound asleep. The second picture is raw yet endearing, it shows the doctors attending Poppy just after her birth.

Lauren first met Jason soon after her accident via their common friend, Rancic. The duo soon connected and frequently went for hikes. Jason soon proposed to Lauren in May 2014 and got married in December of the same year. Lauren shared that after her accident, she was very insecure about her flaws, but Jason just completed her in the best way possible.
