Chris Evans and Alba Baptista were first rumoured to be in a romantic relationship in 2021 when Alba followed a couple of Evans' family members on Instagram. Since then, the two have been spotted together on various occasions. In January 2023, the Captain America star made their relationship public by sharing an adorable throwback video of the couple commemorating their time spent together in 2022.

On October 13, 2023, ‘Captain America’, aka Chris Evans was spotted wearing his wedding ring for the first time since tying the knot with Alba Baptista. The actor posed for a photo with one of his fans at the New York Comic Con, The fan took to her X (former Twitter) account to share the photo in both colour and black and white formats. Evans as usual looked handsome in the photo, and fans were delighted to see him proudly wearing his wedding ring, which seemed to be a simple wedding band.
The 42-year-old actor was all smiles while he posed for the photo with his fan. He was captured flashing a huge grin as he wrapped his arm around her. His wedding band was visible on his left ring finger, which hung casually at his side. Chris looked dashing as always even in his casual OOTD. He donned dark brownish pants with a white T-shirt and completed his outfit with a jacket. Along with his wedding band, the actor accessorised his look with a gold necklace.

In a recent GQ interview, the Gifted star, Chris Evans shared unheard details about his life. New details emerged about the relationship between Chris Evans and Alba Baptista following their private wedding ceremony. He opened up about his personal life and the new chapter he's embarking on away from film sets. The interview took place before the couple's wedding in Massachusetts. Chris said:
"I haven't worked all year and I don't plan to, which has been lovely. My girlfriend that I've had for a while, when we began dating...I was like: 'Yeah, I do one movie a year. I try to never work now.' And then, after like a few months of dating, boom, guess what? We're living in Atlanta for a year. Get ready. And even when that year was happening, I was like, man, never again."
In the same interview, Chris Evans hinted at the possibility of not returning as MCU's 'Captain America'. For the unversed, he played the role of the Marvel superhero from 2011 till the last ‘Avengers’ movie was released in 2019. He added:
“Yeah, maybe. I’ll never say never, just because it was such a wonderful experience. But I’m also very precious with it. It’s something that I am very proud of. And like I said, sometimes I can’t believe it even happened. And I wouldn’t want the black eye if it felt like a cash grab or if it didn’t live up to expectations or if it just felt like it wasn’t connected to that original thing. So, no time soon.”
