The power couple of Bollywood, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar, has been dating since 2018. If media reports are to be believed, Farhan and Shibani are all set to take the plunge and get married on February 21, 2022. For the unversed, Farhan Akhtar was previously married to Adhuna Bhabani. However, after 16 years of marital bliss, the duo had divorced on April 24, 2017. Together they have two daughters, Shakya and Akira, and after the couple's divorce, the kids live with their mom. However, they also have good access to their father's life.
Farhan Akhtar and his model-actress girlfriend, Shibani Dandekar, are quite public about their relationship ever since they have made it official. Every now and then, they drop cutesy pictures with each other on their respective social media handles. A few days back, Farhan's father, Javed Akhtar had opened up in an interview with the Bombay Times about his son's second marriage with Shibani. He had shared that it would be a simple wedding affair in their family home in Khandala.

According to a report in the Hindustan Times, Farhan Akhtar and his long-time girlfriend, Shibani Dandekar, will tie the knot in a civil ceremony on February 21, 2022. A source close to the couple revealed to the portal that along with the registry, Farhan and Shibani have scheduled an intimate traditional wedding according to Maharashtrian culture on February 19, 2022. And the couple's family want to keep their marriage out of the media glares and has invited only close family members; thus, nothing is known about their plans and programs for the wedding. The report mentioned:
"The family has been extremely discreet about this wedding as they don't want the media to turn up at the venue. So only family members have been invited. It is still unclear how things are planned, as everything is under wraps. But in most probability, it will be a Maharashtrian wedding."
Further in the conversation, the source revealed that the Maharashtrian wedding would take place at Farhan's farmhouse in Khandala, Maharashtra. In contrast, their civil ceremony will take place in their Bandra house. Their families will leave for the traditional wedding on the evening of February 18, 2022, and the bride, Shibani's sisters and close friends are in charge of all the pre-wedding ceremonies.

On February 15, 2022, the soon-to-be-married, Farhan Akhtar, had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a picture from his bachelor party. However, what had caught our attention was Shibani's unique presence. In the photo, Farhan had posed for the camera with his set of friends, including Shakeel Ladak and Ritesh Sidwani, and there we had got a glimpse of Shibani Dandekar's face cut-out. Sharing the photo, he had written:
"The boys are back in town #stagdaynightfever (with a dancing boy emoticon)."
As soon as Farhan had shared the picture, his would-be-wife, Shibani Dandekar, had dropped in his comment section and had written pointing out to her mask:
"Um technically i'm there too (with a heart emoticon)."
We are eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of Farhan and Shibani donning their wedding ensembles.
