With almost all the countries on lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic, the stray animals are at a major loss. The stray animals live on the food provided to them by the food joints, dhabas, or even by the residents. But as everything has been shut, and people are advised to stay at home, the battle of survival has become even more difficult for them. Well, to feed these stray animals and help them survive, lots of people and NGOs are doing their bit. Now, to help these creatures, filmmaker, Farah Khan Kunder’s 12-year-old daughter, Anya has stepped forward, making her mommy proud. On March 07, 2020, filmmaker, Farah Khan Kunder had taken to her Instagram handle to announce that her daughter, Anya has decided to sketch a pet and sell the artwork for Rs 1,000 to support such neglected animals. Posting a cute pet sketch by her daughter, Anya, she had captioned it as “My daughter Anya has decided to sketch a pet, n sell it for rs.1000-/.. all proceeds will go towards feeding stray animals and homeless during this pandemic.. not much but she s only 12 yrs old.. thank you @tabutiful @rajeevmasand @aartishetty @shaziaqg for advance orders.” Take a look:
On March 12, 2020, director, Farah Khan took to her social media handle to announce how her 12-year-old daughter, Anya has managed to raise Rs 70, 000 by sketching pets, and how the amount raised will go towards feeding the homeless and stray animals, affected by the coronavirus pandemic. She shared a video of her daughter sketching the pets on her Twitter handle, and captioned it as “So my 12 yr old Anya has raised 70,000 rs in 5 days, by sketching your pets for a 1000 rs a sketch. All the money is being used to feed strays and needy. Thank you all the kind hearted people who have ordered sketches and donated (sic)” Sharing the same video on her Instagram handle, she captioned it as “So coincidentally its #nationalpetday n Anya is at it!! 70,000 rs raised to feed strays & needy.. all by sketching pets. Farah Khan had gotten married to filmmaker, Shirish Kunder on December 9, 2004, shocking people around as nobody was aware of Farah and Shirish's relationship.
