Presently, she is dating Boney Kapoor's son and Bollywood actor, Arjun Kapoor. For the unversed, she was earlier married to actor, Arbaaz Khan, on December 12, 1998. Together, Malaika Arora and her ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan, also have a 19-year-old son, Arhaan Khan. After the duo divorced, Malaika got the custody of her son. Malaika Arora is called one of the coolest moms in the industry, and she never misses an opportunity to shower her love on her son, Arhaan Khan. On February 6, 2022, Malaika Arora and her ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan, were spotted together bidding goodbye to their son, Arhaan, from the Mumbai Airport. The couple was seen hugging and engaged in a conversation with Arhaan, as he was leaving India for his studies. Malaika wore a grey jacket paired with grey lower and sneakers in the pictures and videos that surfaced on the internet. Arbaaz opted for a white T-shirt paired with blue jeans and white sneakers. Whereas, Arhaan looked handsome in a green jacket and brown pants, carrying his rucksack and sling bags as he walked inside the Airport.
As soon as the videos and pictures of Malaika Arora, Arbaaz Khan and Arhaan Khan surfaced on the internet, many fans flooded the comment section praising the parents for coming together while performing parental duty. When Malaika's son, Arhaan Khan, was about to leave India and go abroad to pursue higher studies, the loving mother had bared her heart out on how difficult it was to send her son away from her. So, on August 17, 2021, Malaika Arora had taken to her Instagram handle to pen an emotional note for Arhaan as he was about to embark on a new journey in a different country. She had posted a picture with her son, looking out of the window, with their backs facing the camera. Her note could be read as:
"As we both embark on a new n unchartered journey, one filled with nervousness, fear, excitement, distance, new experiences …all I know is that I am super duper proud of you my Arhaan."

In an interview with Namrata Zakaria on her podcast, Tell Me How You Did It, Malaika Arora had opened up on her early marriage and motherhood that had never affected her professional life. However, the glamorous diva of Bollywood had added that she had set an example for other women. She had said:
"Somewhere, it was an example of sorts for a lot of other women. It never was a hindrance. I'm proof of that. Not in any way has it come in the choices that I've made. Being married, or when I was married, or when I decided to have a child, I don't think any of it had any bearing on my professional life. People around me had a lot more to say, but it didn't have any bearing on my professional life."
Malaika shares a beautiful bond with her son, Arhaan and her pooch, Casper. In an interview with Neha Dhupia for her show, No Filter Neha, she had adorably revealed her feelings. She shared that if you are an animal lover, they become your family, and her family is her baby, Casper. She had added that her son always says that you love their pooch more than me. Malaika had also said:
"He keeps asking me, 'Mumma you love Casper or me?' I say I have two boys and its both of you and I love you both equally. He keeps saying that 'Mom, can you not be diplomatic and choose me and say no. You're my number 1.' I'm like I can't say that. Arhaan is everything but my Casper is also my everything. The kind of unconditional love that. I can't believe we're sitting and talking about my pet here, but yeah it's just unconditional love."
For the unversed, Malaika Arora's ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan, is currently dating Giorgia Andriani.
