Evelyn Sharma Divorce, Who Is 39-Yr-Old's Husband, Tushaan Bhindi? Exes Call It Amicable Separation

Remember the famous actress, Evelyn Sharma, of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Well, she has been going through the most difficult time as she parted ways with her husband, Tushaan Bhindi. The reports of her separation were first shared by Hindustan Times, wherein Evelyn confirmed the same. However, Evelyn reiterated that it is as amicable as it can be.

Who is Evelyn Sharma's husband, Tushaan Bhindi?

It is heart-wrenching to see couples part ways, but sometimes it is the need of the hour and for the family's sanity. Evelyn Sharma, in her divorce statement, clarified that she and her husband, Tushaan, are going to continue to co-parent their two kids, along the way as they learn to be friends for life. 

For the unversed, Evelyn and Tushaan met on a blind date in 2018. Their mutual friends had arranged the date. Within the first meeting, they found a connection, and in 2019, the couple got engaged. It was in 2021 when the couple took the wedding vows. While Evelyn is an actress, Tushaan Bhindi is a dental surgeon from Australia. Tushaan likes to keep his life away from the world of glam and glitz, and his social meida is also private with only 16 followers on Instagram. 

Tushaan Bhindi is a graduate from Sydney University in 2004. It was in Queensland that he perfected his cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. Later, he went on to implement his prevention strategies across Southeast Asia. He owns his own clinic called Combined Clinics Dental for his community.

It is worth mentioning that even before Evelyn confirmed her separation from Tushaan, there was a wild speculation on Reddit that the couple had parted ways. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Evelyn confirmed that she has parted ways with Tushaan. However, the couple, who are parents to two kids, a daughter named Ava, and a son, Arden, will continue to co-parent them. Evelyn didn't share the exact reason for their separation or what went wrong in their marriage. The actress further urged people to respect their privacy as they navigate the stressful period with ease. Evelyn highlighted that they are trying to build a new chapter of a lifelong friendship for the sake of their two kids. She was quoted as saying:

"Yes, we have decided to go our separate ways romantically but are very focused on raising our children together. We would appreciate privacy and assure that this is as amicable as it can be. We are building this new chapter on a lifelong friendship and co-parenting."

Evelyn Sharma would often share glimpses of her marital life. However, her last post was shared in 2024. She had shared a photo of her entire family enjoying outdoor fun on a tractor. It was a wholesome moment. In another photo, she shared a collage of how her time with her children is spent on swings and taking care of them. She had written:

"Life’s been a whirlwind lately —  Packed with park strolls, beach days with the kids, and all the beautiful chaos in between. Sometimes we all need that little reminder to slow down, breathe, and soak in the moments that truly matter."

A day ago, Evelyn shared a post on Instagram. She had posted a carousel, wherein she held her daughter in her arms, showing how she has been taking care of her children amidst the separation. The photos proved that Evelyn is doing her best to take care of her children, so that they can understand that their parents' separation is not for the worse.
