In a throwback interview with The Telegraph, Esha had shared that motherhood has brought many changes into her. She had said, "Yes, it has. A new chapter in my life has just started and I am enjoying every bit of it. I am a hands-on mother. Though I am in Calcutta today, my phone has a camera where I can keep an eye on her all the time. I am that kind of person, whether it’s with my husband or my child. I enjoy being a housewife. I like the whole ‘khana khaya ki nahin? Kya khaya aaj?’ routine (laughs). Motherhood has given me a new sense of confidence."
Some time back, Esha had graced her close friend, Simone Khambatta’s YouTube chat show, Mama Says and had opened up about her postpartum depression. Sharing her experience with the same, Esha had stated, “When I had Radhya, there was no postpartum depression, nothing. People used to look at me and ask ‘Tu theek hai na?’ And I used to wonder why are they asking like this, I mean yeah main theek hoon. But after my second delivery, I didn’t know what it was. I didn’t experience so I didn’t know. And right after delivery, I didn’t know what was going on as I was in a room filled with people and suddenly, I felt like crying. I sat quietly and very dull, low. And I have given birth to a beautiful baby girl again and it’s a very happy moment in my life and I didn’t know what’s going on.” (Also Read: BB 14: Rahul Vaidya's Love, Disha Parmar Roots For Him, Her Ex-Co-Star, Nakuul Mehta Teases Her)
