In the world of glamour, an actress’ marriage is treated as the end of her career and motherhood is surely thought as a phase where the actress would never make a comeback. One actress who has proved the notion wrong and had made a comeback and swayed away the audiences is Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s daughter, Esha Deol. Esha had made a stunning comeback in 2019 with a 26-minute short film, Cakewalk, directed by Ram Kamal Mukherjee.
On June 10, 2019, Esha Deol and her husband, Bharat Takhtani had embraced parenthood for the second time and had announced the birth of their little angel, Miraya Takhtani. The elated mommy keeps on sharing cute pictures of her daughters and make her fans drool over them. On November 27, 2019, Esha took to her Instagram handle and posted a picture of her daughter, Miraya with her daddy, Bharat, having some alone time with each other. Miraya looked cute while she peeped into her father’s eyes and the two were seen having some ‘we’ time. Along with the picture, Esha posted a caption which could be read as “MIU baby #mirayatakhtani with her Dadaa #fatheranddaughter”.
Esha Deol’s comeback on the silver screen was much talked about and she had surprised all her fans with her stunning performance. Esha had recently won the Best Actress Award at MTV IWMBUZZ Digital Awards and Society Iconic Indian Award for her performance. Speaking about her experience of making a comeback with the film Cakewalk, the Dhoom actress had stated, "Cakewalk changed my life, and I would give entire credit to my daughters. I am a completely different person today because of my lovely daughters. I would like to continue my work and also make sure that I give my hundred percent to my daughters.”
She had further retorted, “I will take them along to my shoots and spend time when I am not working. Cakewalk changed my life, and I would give entire credit to my daughters. In an interview with The Telegraph, Esha had shared her feelings of being a mother and how motherhood had changed the entire meaning of life. She had revealed that motherhood had introduced a new chapter of her life and she was enjoying every bit of it. She had stated that no matter where she is, she always keeps a check on her daughters. She loves being a hands-on mother and had also stated that motherhood has given her a new sense of confidence.
Esha and Bharat had chosen unique names for their beautiful angels. In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Esha had revealed how her younger daughter, Miraya’s name is connected to her big sister, Radhya’s name. Esha had stated, “When Lord Krishna worships Radha, it’s called Radhya, while Miraya means a devotee of Lord Krishna. Both the girls have that in common and I love how Radhya and Miraya sound together.” To make the big announcement of her pregnancy for the second time, Esha had shared a picture of Radhya on her Instagram handle and had penned, “I’m being promoted to ‘Big Sister’."
