Hema Malini and Dharmendra's daughter, Esha Deol, has parted ways from her husband, Bharat Takhtani, after almost 12 years of marital bliss. While rumours about the alleged rift between them have been rife for some time now, this news came as a shock for her massive fanbase. For the unversed, Esha Deol tied the knot with businessman, Bharat Takhtani, on June 29, 2012, and the duo is blessed with two daughters, Radhya and Miraya.
As reported by the Delhi Times, Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani shared a joint statement and revealed that they have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. The couple revealed that they took this huge step keeping in mind the welfare of their two kids and asked everyone to respect their privacy. They were quoted as saying:
“We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy is respected.”

Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani painted the town red with their mushy posts for each other on social media. However, for a while now, the duo has stopped making public appearances and hasn't been seen together. Moreover, Bharat went missing from Hema Malini's 75th birthday celebration, and Esha was also seen celebrating Diwali without him, unlike usual. Esha and Bharat also didn't attend any Diwali parties together last year.
On January 22, 2024, Esha Deol shared a series of pictures showcasing her latest transformation on her IG handle. The photos showed Esha sitting on a couch as she clicked some selfies. The actress was dressed in a blue-hued spaghetti top and flaunted her silky long hair. Alongside the pictures, she penned a note revealing that she got a new hair colour. In Hindi, Esha had written:
"Naya saal, naya rang."

For the unversed, Esha and Bharat's separation rumours got ignited due to a viral Reddit post. Earlier, we stumbled upon a Reddit post which talked about how Esha Deol's husband, Bharat Takhtani cheated on her. In the post, a netizen claimed that they saw Bharat with his alleged girlfriend at a paid party in Bangalore. While many details about Bharat's ladylove are not known, the netizen shared that she lives in Bangalore.
