June 11, 2019, began with happy news for all Deol-Takhtani fans as Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani embrace parenthood for the second time and became proud parents to a baby girl, once again. After making the most of their time with the little angel, Radhya Takhtani, Deol-Takhtani families are now blessed with another little angel, whom the proud parents have named Miraya Takhtani. Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani have taken to their Instagram handle to announce the arrival of their baby girl and had revealed her name. Esha and Bharat shared a pink poster stating, “Welcome to our tribe. Baby Girl Miraya Takhtani Born on 10th June 2019. Big sister Radhya, Proud Parents Esha & Bharat Takhtani. Gratitude to the divine.” While Esha captioned her post as, “Thank you very much for the love & blessings @bharattakhtani3 #radhyatakhtani #mirayatakhtani”, Bharat wrote, “Thank you very much for the good wishes & blessings @imeshadeol #radhyatakhtani #mirayatakhtani”.
3 days after delivering her second born, Miraya Takhtani, Esha Deol, Bharat Takhtani and their one-and-a-half-year-old, Radhya Takhtani posed for the media stationed outside Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. They were all smiles for the cameras with the newborn cuddled in daddy, Bharat’s arms and Radhya posing in mommy, Esha’s arms. Here’s the awesome foursome picture of the Deol-Takhtani clan:
A day after giving birth to her little angel, Miraya Takhtani, Esha Deol was contacted by the Mumbai Mirror and the second-time mommy excitedly talked about her two daughters. Revealing how her second daughter, Miraya’s name is connected to their firstborn, Radhya’s name, Esha stated, “When Lord Krishna worships Radha, it’s called Radhya, while Miraya means a devotee of Lord Krishna. Both the girls have that in common and I love how Radhya and Miraya sound together.”
Esha Deol also shared that she has asked her mother, Hema Malini to take out 10 days from her busy schedule to be with the family. Esha gushes the ‘over the moon’ mood of the second-time grandparents with the new arrival is “more the merrier with grandchildren”. And for the Deol-Takhtani family, Esha said, “Celebrations had begun the moment we learnt that I was expecting. And the closer you get to the due date, the excitement in the house increases. Explaining the upside of having two kids, Esha Deol was quoted as saying, “My sister and I shared a room for a long time, and so did my husband and his younger brother. We are going to get the girls to share the nursery that Noorien (Jumani, interior designer) had designed for us earlier. Now, she has tweaked the interiors to make room for Miraya. The girls are going to share a lot of things, from doll houses to clothes. We are also getting a playroom ready.”
Sharing how her first daughter, Radhya Takhtani responded to her baby sister, Esha Deol remarked, “The day she figured out that my stomach was getting bigger, we told her about the baby, and she had been excited about it ever since. I am sure she will be a wonderful elder sister.”
In another post-delivery interview with the Mid-Day, Esha Deol shared the excitement on welcoming their little angel, Miraya Takhtani, “Bharat and I are extremely happy and blessed. It's wonderful to have another girl in the family. Bharat is one lucky [guy] who will be surrounded by three beautiful women, all his life. Miraya and Radhya will complement each other.”
In the first interview post-Miraya Takhtani’s birth, Esha Deol's husband and proud father, Bharat Takhtani talked about the resemblance of their two angels. In an interview with the Mid-Day, Bharat said, "I am a happy and proud father. Miraya looks like Esha, and Radhya looks like me. So, I am glad that we have babies who resemble us."
