Erling Haaland Celebrates His 26th Birthday Days After FIFA WC With Girlfriend On Yacht, 'My Love..'

Erling Haaland had made waves with his outstanding performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He had even led Norway to the quarter-finals after a historic win over Brazil. Now, just days after the tournament, Haaland is celebrating his 26th birthday. Among the many wishes from his fans, it is his girlfriend, Isabel Haugseng Johansen’s post for him that is grabbing the most attention.

The Norwegian star Erling Haaland, who became a viral sensation during the FIFA World Cup, turned 26 years old on July 21, 2026. To celebrate his birthday, his girlfriend, Isabel Haugseng Johansen took to her social media to share a tribute for Haaland. She posted two photos on Instagram featuring her and Haaland with a short and sweet caption, “Happy Birthday my love.” 

In the first snap, the duo can be seen posing together on a yacht. Haaland could be seen wearing a black tank top, black sunglasses, and a gold cross chain. On the other hand, the 22-year-old chose to wear a light blue dress for the occasion. Coming to the second picture, it is a selfie that she took with her boyfriend on the same yacht. In true Haaland fashion, the footballer simply wrote “Nice” in the comments. 

Apart from these two snaps of the couple, Isabel also shared a few pictures on her Instagram Story on Tuesday. Also taken aboard the yacht, the snaps revealed that Haaland celebrated his birthday in the company of not only his girlfriend but also his close friends. As seen in the photos posted by Isabel, the group enjoyed a luxe food spread of meats, cheeses, and berries. 

After sharing the photos of their mouth-watering feast, Isabel went on to post a picture of Haaland and the group gathered around the yacht near the water. Later, one of their friends who had been aboard posted a photo of a mini golf course on the yacht. 

Reacting to the pictures from Haaland's birthday celebration, a fan wrote, “Happy birthday big guy!” Another wrote, “What a good looking couple! God bless them.” A third user penned, “Happy BD Mr. Goal machine.” A comment read, “Happy birthday brother. So what's the goal for next season or should I say goals?” Another fan penned, “Happy Birthday, Erling Haaland. Wishing you another incredible year filled with goals, trophies, good health, and unforgettable moments.” 

Isabel Haugseng Johansen and Erling Haaland’s relationship 

According to reports, Isabel and Haaland met for the first time as children in the youth system of Bryne FK. While they had been good friends since then, their relationship only took a romantic turn around 2021 when Haaland was at Borussia Dortmund. Later, when the footballer moved to Manchester City, Isabel moved to England with him.

During a conversation with Norwegian broadcaster NRK in 2025, Haaland gave a rare glimpse into his otherwise private relationship with Isabel. He claimed that she was the one who made the first move and pushed him. He said:

“She was the one who messaged me first. She came after me. She sent me a message. She played in the same club as me, Bryne. She was the one who checked me out. I wasn't the one who checked her out.” 

In December 2024, the young couple began a new chapter in their lives as they welcomed their first child, a son. Despite becoming parents, Haaland and Isabel don't forget to enjoy the simple moments together. The footballer shared:

“I cook dinner…It's going to be a little embarrassing for her that I say this, but she likes video games. We play Minecraft together, we build houses and all that. Or we go back home to Bryne and order kebabs.”
