How did Emilie Kiser lose her 3-year-old son, Trigg?
It was in May 2025, a few months after Emilie welcomed her second son, when her firstborn, Trigg, was found unconscious in a backyard pool in Arizona. Six days after the same, the 3-year-old passed away tragically in a hospital. Trigg's death was caused by his accidental drowning in the pool of their home. When the incident took place, Emilie was not at home, while her husband, Brady, was watching the couple's second son.
It was during that moment when Trigg fell into the pool. According to the reports, Brady was not with Trigg for a few minutes, after which he could be seen floating in the pool. According to a Maricopa County medical examiner's report, the death of the 3-year-old was caused by anoxic brain injury, which happened due to drowning.
According to the report, the death was an accident. Emilie appeared on Jay Shetty's podcast a year later and revealed how she forgave her husband, as he was the one who was looking after Trigg and Teddy at their home when the 3-year-old died. Initially, it was reported that Brady could face several charges; however, it was later revealed that the little one passed away due to an accident.
Speaking about her husband, Emilie mentioned that she had respect for Brady, as he let her express whatever she felt during that time. She also mentioned that she could easily be in Brady's place, and it eventually filled Emilie's heart with empathy towards her husband.
Emilie Kiser talked about navigating constant heartbreak amid her pregnancy
Emilie is expecting her third child. She recently released a video and expressed the emotions she has been navigating. In a recent TikTok video, the third time to-be-mom revealed that she's struggling mentally, while adding that it has been hard for her following Trigg's death.
She also stated that she has been thinking about welcoming her third child, and how it would have been great if her firstborn were with her two kids. She further talked about not revealing her grief openly; however, she now feels that, in her healing journey, it's now needed for her to open up about the things she has been feeling. Emilie said:
"I am just mentally having such a hard time with this pregnancy, and it’s not because I’m struggling physically. It’s because there are so many like mental battles that come with being pregnant after losing Trigg. I am just constantly heartbroken that he’s not here, and I also am constantly thinking about how this next baby is going to be such a blessing to our family. We already love this baby so much."
