Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner, Elvish Yadav is currently behind bars for his alleged involvement in a snake venom case. However, amid this, his parents made a shocking revelation regarding his lavish lifestyle and luxurious purchases. For the unversed, the successful social media influencer has a huge fanbase on his IG handle and YouTube vlogs. In many of his social media posts and Vlogs, he has often flaunted things from his possessions, such as a home in Dubai worth Rs. 8 crores, expensive cars like a Porsche, Mercedes, a Toyota Fortuner, a Wagon-R, and other high-end vehicles.
In an interview with Aaj Tak, Elvish Yadav's parents made a shocking revelation about him, amid his ongoing investigation related to a rave party incident. His father, Ramvatar Yadav explained that the social media star's luxury cars, including Porsche and Mercedes, are not owned by him but are borrowed from his friends. In addition, many other high-end vehicles shown by Elvish in his social media posts are all on rent. Moreover, Ramvatar mentioned that the property in Dubai is also on rent, and Elvish showcased it just in order to gain popularity online. In Ramvatar's words:
"He used to rent older cars to showcase his stunts in his YouTube videos and portrayed them as his own new cars."

The Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner was arrested for 14 days starting from March 17, 2024. The Noida Police placed Elvish under judicial custody related to a rave party incident, wherein as per the reports, he had supplied snake venom. A source from the ongoing investigation earlier informed a leading portal that Elvish, who initially denied any involvement in the matter, has now admitted to the same. The source stated:
"During interrogation, Yadav did not admit to the crime... but we possess substantial evidence. For him, it was about projecting an image of 'swag' or 'bhaukaal'. He aimed to depict himself to his fans as someone who is fearless of law enforcement and can act as he pleases."
Thus, when Elvish was arrested, it was indeed a tough phase for his parents. Following the incident, when his mother, Sushma Yadav was contacted by one of his friends, she was seen crying inconsolably. For the unversed, Elvish is extremely close to his mother, and it is often seen in his daily vlogs. Thus, seeing Elvish in jail was one of the toughest phases for his close ones, especially his mother, and she broke down. A video of his mother breaking down on camera went viral, while one of her son's friends tried calming her down.

On February 11, 2024, a video of Elvish went viral, wherein he was seen slapping a man who reportedly hurled abuses at him. It happened when Elvish was coming out of a restaurant with his friends. But after moving forward a bit, he returned and was seen giving a brutal slap to a man sitting at a table. When the man lashed back, Elvish returned to argue. However, Elvish's friends stopped him and escorted him out of the restaurant. Later, when the entire social media was talking on the same matter, Elvish released an audio statement and mentioned:
"Bhai, dekho, matter ye hai, naa mujhe shauk hai ladai karne ka, naa mere ko haath uthane ka shauk hai. Main apne kaam se kaam rakhta hoon. Main chalta hoon normal. Aur jo photo khichwane ko kehta hai, hum kichwate hai aaram se photo. Par, jo koi piche se comment pass karta hai, usko nahi bakshte."
