Elvish Yadav Is Engaged To Jiya Shankar, Did He Propose With Huge Diamond Ring? 'I Found My..'

Elvish Yadav is known for creating trends and breaking them. The Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner is already being loved for his chef gig on Laughter Chefs. Fans, and especially his female fans, are seeing another side of Elvish, which is being adored by all. Amidst his busy schedules, Elvish seems to have found the love of his life. The actor teased his fans with an engagement, and his rumoured fiancée is none other than Jiya Shankar.

Elvish Yadav announced his love for Jiya Shankar

Taking to his Instagram stories, Elvish left his fans jaw-dropped and many girls heartbroken as he announced his love for Jiya Shankar. He shared a picture while holding Jiya's hand. However, it was her huge diamond ring that seems to be given by Elvish. Along with it, he penned:

"Gave love another chance and found my heart."

Who is Jiya Shankar?

Jiya Shankar is a known actress, who has worked in prominent television shows. Some of them are Meri Hanikarak Biwi, Pishachini, and Kaatelal and Sons. However, she rose to stardom with her film, Ved, co-starring Riteish Deshmukh. She gained a lot of love for her stint in the reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2, and she was also a finalist. She is most recognised for her roles in TV shows and web series.

Abhishek Malhan and Jiya Shankar grew close inside Bigg Boss OTT 2 house, which was well known. People outside even linked the two, and many thought they might start dating. They even did a song together, which further sparked their relationship buzz. However, in 2024, they ended their association and clarified that they had never been more than just friends. But almost a year later in 2025, the rumours surrounding their relationship resurfaced.

As per a report by Telly Khazana, it was revealed that Abhishek and Jiya have made their relationship public and reports claim that they are planning to get engaged soon. The post can be read as:

"It’s official! Fukra Insaan and Jiya Shankar have made their relationship public, and reports say an engagement could be on the way. Wishing this cute couple love and happiness always (sic)."

After days of engagement buzz with Jiya Shankar, Abhishek Malhan took to his Instagram stories on January 1, 2025, and penned a long post. In his note, he clarified that his name should not be linked with anyone. He added that he was part of the show three years ago and that chapter ended there. Abhishek clarified that his choices and stance were clear, and they remain the same. He wrote:

"I want to make one thing very clear, please stop linking my name with anyone. I was part of the show three years ago, and that chapter ended there. My choices and stance were made very clear back then and nothing has changed since."

Abhishek further mentioned that it is disappointing that the same buzz keeps popping up every year. He added that people who know him would also agree with what he was saying, and he doesn't want to be part of such link-up games.
