Elon Musk talked about Ashley's allegation on him and took to his social media website, X, formerly known as Twitter. He added that she was never offered that and has a history of making false claims. He wrote:
"She was never offered that and has a history of making false claims."
As soon as Elon shared his thoughts, netizens shared their thoughts too. One user took a dig at Elon and wrote, "Give her $20 mil and call it complete man. It's your kid anyway. And probably the only kid born naturally without IVF." Another one penned, "Your pick and not the only gold digger in your life, maybe at some day you will find the truth."
A third user commented, "She’s so stupid. Having a child with the richest man on Earth means you don’t have to worry about money forever — no job, travel the world, just enjoy life. Why the fuck create a conflict? This is the real definition of stupidity."
For the unversed, Elon Musk's former partner, Ashley revealed that she turned down a huge money tied to a non-disclosure agreement, which was worth USD 40 million. She revealed that she wants to gain her children's trust and does not want to surrender to the financial security. She also appearaed in a documentary by Elon Musk, which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival.
The 28-year-old has a son with Elon Musk and she took the bold step of speaking about their relationship and the legal pressure that was put on her to stay silent. She revealed that she was offered USD 40 million to not speak out. She said:
"I was offered the opportunity not to speak for $40 million. When you're offered something like that, it really causes a debate in your head about what your speech means and how valuable that is, and why do they want to offer me this amount of money to not speak?"
Ashley rejected the deal as she wanted to set an example for her children to speak the truth. Ashley and Elon welcomed a son on September 4, 2024. Ashley stated that she had the most complicated relationship with the truth. However, Elon dismissed the documentary on X. Ashley has been part of US conservative circles and had been affiliated with conservative youth organisation Turning Point USA.
Ashley also accused Elon Musk of not being a good father to their child as he had abandoned their son, Romulus, when he was just five months. She also revealed that Elon was absent when she gave birth to him in September 2024. And he had only met his son thrice since his birth.
Ashley also revealed that she had filed a paternity lawsuit against him and stated that he had a brief meeting with his son. Ashley stated that Elon moves through major events without checking whether his child was moving with him or trailing behind.
