Ekta Kaul had announced that she and her hubby, Sumeet Vyas are all set to welcome junior Permanent Roommate in June 2020 and since then, she has been treating her fans with her beautiful pictures, flaunting the baby bump. Two days ago, Ekta had posted a picture of her first attempt at baking and we must say, the result looked scrumptious. Ekta had captioned her post as “Lockdown baking... My first attempt at baking and styling was not that bad… #tryingtobebusy #cantsitidle.”
A while back, Ekta Kaul posted a monochrome picture of herself, holding her baby bump. Dressed in a black spaghetti top and black leggings, Ekta wrote a Hindi caption, “Kabhi kabhi lagta hai bachhe ke saath saath main vichaaro se bhi garbhvati hoon. Farq itna hai ki mera dimaag, mere garbhashya ki tarah aakaar me nahi badh raha. Balki us choti si jagah mein, badh rahe hai mere vichaar aur meri bhaavanayein! On April 9, 2020, Sumeet Vyas had posted a picture of his fridge, which had a lot of magnets and a sweet note from his doting wife, Ekta Kaul. Ekta had written a note for her foodie hubby, which could be read as “You are not hungry, You are bored. GO BACK” followed by a teasing emoji. Sumeet had shared a picture of it and had written, “Better half’s contribution to my fitness regime... @ektakaul11 thanks for being the pillar... between me and calories” as the caption. In case you missed, let us share how the soon-to-be parents had announced their ‘Good Newwz’ to the world. Sumeet had posted some pictures, holding his wife, Ekta Kaul’s baby bump and had announced that ‘Cool Junior’ is on its way. He had captioned the pictures as “Spending all that time at home, can be fruitful in many ways. In my case it’s life altering. #cooljr is on it’s way. #newroommate.” Ekta had posted a picture of Sumeet kissing her on her cheeks as they both held her baby bump. She captioned her post as “Proudly announcing our new project together. Introducing Jr. KaulVyas (soon) Created, Directed and Produced by US.... @sumeetvyas and I.”
Last year in June, Ekta Kaul and Sumeet Vyas had interacted with their fans through an Ask Me Anything session on Instagram. When Ekta was asked, “When’ll we see nanhi Ekta and chhota Sumeet?” She had shared her childhood picture and wrote, “Now, nanhi ekta” atop it.
In an exclusive interview with BollywoodShaadis.com, Ekta Kaul reveals how Sumeet Vyas had reacted when she had told him about the pregnancy. Ekta reminisced, “He was sleeping and I called him at 6 in the morning. And he said give me 10 mins since he couldn’t register anything in his sleep. And then called back on sometime. And we had our moment.”
When asked how her parents had reacted to the news of her pregnancy and what preparations are going on for the soon-to-arrive baby, Ekta Kaul had replied, “My parents were extremely happy when they got to know about it. I was with them only in Jammu so the first people who got to know were my mom and dad. My father I remember got me ice creams and took me out for drives every evening and Mumma made Kashmiri food and all of the other things that I love eating. So I was pampered a lot. Also, my nephew who is a year and a half took care of me. He and my sister stayed with me for a month and gave me immense love when I was there.” Revealing how are they managing doctor visits amidst the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown, Ekta had said, “Check-ups are easy.
