Such is the case with Veere Di Wedding actor and TVF’s Permanent Roommates fame, Sumeet Vyas and one of the favourite TV bahus, Ekta Kaul. It all started when Ekta shared a picture of her holding someone’s hands on her Instagram handle, captioning it, “From today until forever” hash-tagging it adorably with words like #soulmatesunited and #dealissealed. Little did we know back then that the hands would be of everyone’s favourite, Micky bhaiyaa aka Sumeet Vyas.
Shocking, isn’t it? Well, not anymore. After all, the lovebirds themselves have decided to go on record and be public with their relationship status. On the morning of April 28, 2018, Ekta Kaul is out with it! She has shared couple pictures with Sumeet Vyas, and sweetly captioned them, “And into his arms, I go to lose my mind and find my soul. @sumeetvyas sometimes there’s only one thing to say. Wow! Tossing all the speculations and conjectures into the air, Ekta Kaul just confirmed her relationship status with Sumeet Vyas. Ekta Kaul had earlier as well shared the Holi pic above and with the same caption on March 02, 2018. However, Sumeet’s face was hidden in that post. This is what she had posted then:
In another of her posts, she could be seen holding Sumeet’s hands lovingly, and Ekta captioned it, “They didn't agree on much. In fact, they didn't agree on anything. They fought all the time and challenged each other every day. But despite their differences, they had one thing in common. They were crazy about each other!! Just yesterday there was a report on Telly Chakkar which suggested a source confirming the news of Sumeet and Ekta dating each other. The source revealed, “The duo is dating for some time now. It is still unknown about how they met but they are going strong. The couple is all set to tie the knot. Ostensibly, Ekta and Sumeet might exchange the vows this September. Their respective families have already accepted the couple.”
Also, when Ekta was approached to comment on the same, she revealed that she is getting married in September 2018 but didn’t disclose Sumeet’s name. Sumeet, on the other hand, replied, “No comments.”
There have also been reports that Sumeet and Ekta exchanged rings in February 2018 itself. For the uninitiated ones, Sumeet has been married to theatre actor, Shivani Tanksale. However, there were problems in their marital life and they headed for a divorce in December 2017.
Well, as much surprising it is for us to know that Ekta Kaul and Sumeet Vyas are dating, so much desperate we’re to see them get married.
