DWTS Season 35 Cast Revealed, Same-Sex Pairing, Dance Veterans And Surprise Stars Join Competition

A while ago, the complete list of contestants and their dance pros was released. Now, it is safe to say that audiences will once again be entertained by a mix of actors, athletes, reality stars, musicians, and popular internet figures. The announcement was made on Good Morning America, days before the race to the Mirrorball Trophy begins.
Dancing with the Stars 35 is going to have a star-studded mix of celebrities
The cast of Dancing with the Stars Season 35 is led by Julia Stiles, best known for her work in films such as 10 Things I Hate About You and Save the Last Dance. She will feature with her pro partner, Ezra Sonsa. Alongside, she will be joined by actress and trained dancer Jeena Dewan. The latter is famous for her stint on Step Up with decades-long experiment, and is paired with veteran Val Chmerkovskiy.
Another popular personality on the show is Tatyana Ali. She is renowned for her role as 'Ashley Banks' on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Jan Ravnik will join her. Meanwhile, music fans will be delighted to see Taylor Hanson, from the pop-rock band Hanson, putting on his dancing shoes with Britt Stewart.
Meanwhile, Jackson Olson, the beloved player of the Savannah Bananas baseball team, will step up from the sports background with Emma Slater. Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis will also swap the ballroom for the kitchen with Alan Bersten as her partner. At the same time, reality TV will be well represented by Maura Higgins, who has been on Love Island and The Traitors. She has been paired with Ciara Miller.
Another contestant who has drawn attention is Conner Leavitt from The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives, who will dance with newbie Adele Zaikman. Similarly, internet personality and comedian Conner Wood will be competing with these contestants, accompanied by Rylee Arnold. The fans of late-night TV can also rejoice because Guillermo Rodriguez, the much-loved sidekick from Jimmy Kimmel Live, will bring his amazing sense of humor to the show with Season 34's winner, Witney Carson.
Dancing with the Stars Season 35 will also make history with a same-sex partnership through Sarah Jane Nader and her pro, Hailey Bills. They will be the third same-sex pair in the show's decades long history.
Since athletes have never disappointed on the ballroom floor, Season 35 features several of them. Viewers will get to see Paralympic champion Ezra Frech joining the stage with Daniella Karagach, while Olympic gold-medal winner figure skater Amber Glenn will join hands with Pasha Pashkov.
Another contestant talked about is Harry Shum Jr., best known for his dancing skills on Glee. He will be joined by Jenna Johnson, who has significant experience as one of the strongest dancing pros on the show. Lastly, Tyler Cameron will dance with returning pro, Sharna Burgess, who is making a long-awaited comeback on the show.
Dancing with the Stars Season 35 promises a bigger season and more competitive ballroom
Dancing with the Stars Season 35 will premiere on two nights, September 15, 2026, and September 16, 2026. Viewers will be able to watch it on ABC and Disney+. Later, the episodes will stream on Hulu.
The new season will mark the return of judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough. Likewise, Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough will co-host the show. Makers have an even bigger plan as they have announced the first official live companion show, DWTS After Party. It will be hosted by Season 34 winner, Robert Irwin.
For those who do not know, the after-show will feature Robert conducting interviews with contestants, behind-the-scenes moments, and analysis of the night's performances.
