After her trip to India, Dua Lipa was spotted at the Golden Globes 2024 awards show. The Levitating singer wore a gorgeous gown by the avant-garde Italian haute couture brand, Schiaparelli, for the red-carpet ceremony and she was named one of the best-dressed celebrities at the award ceremony. Dua donned a black-hued velvet bustier dress, which featured gilded bones in diamond and Schiaparelli Gold, and a skirt in silk satin faille. The red-haired singer kept her makeup minimal and accessorised her look with dainty earrings and an opulent necklace. The 28-year-old singer wore a Tiffany & Co. golden beryl necklace from the year 1962.
This necklace holds a significant history of its own. It was featured in a spread on the most impressive jewellery of the season in the December 1962 issue of Town & Country Magazine. The original price of the neckpiece was USD 12,000, which is approximately Rs. 9,97,399 when converted to INR. The Tiffany & Co. golden beryl and diamond necklace includes oval, pear and briolette-cut yellow beryl, round diamonds, and 18k yellow gold and platinum. The same necklace was sold recently at Christie’s auction for USD 1,89,000, which is close to Rs. 1,57,09,046.

Dua Lipa took to her official Instagram account on January 9, 2024, to share a few memorable glimpses from Golden Globes 2024. The singer was nominated for her song, Dance The Night, from the 2023 film, Barbie for the ‘Best Original Song’ category. She captioned her post, “Thank you Golden Globes for such a beautiful night last night - the only thing missing was a reclining chair.” As soon as she uploaded from the soiree, netizens took to the comment section to relay their opinions to the Houdini singer.
