Allie Colleen is questioned over her remarks regarding Dolly Parton's passing at the age of 80
Taking to her IG handle, Allie Colleen shared her tribute to Dolly Parton. While sharing the emotional post, Allie further talked about her fears of watching the world mourn her father one day, the man whom she knows as nobody else does. The 30-year-old further offered condolences to Dolly Parton's close ones while speaking about her legacy.
Allie's comment resonated with many, but a certain section of netizens remained confused about it, questioning the meaning of what she had penned. Allie, in the post, had written:
"My greatest fear in life is the day my Dad loses his life, and I have to see the world mourn a man they never knew the way I knew him. To the personal family and friends of Mrs. Dolly, you have all my love and condolences today and forever going forward. What a huge, beautiful, special life to have loved and to grieve. Thank you for sharing her with us all.”

As some social media users kept questioning Allie Colleen's post, she came forward to respond. In one of the comments, a user called Allie's statement 'wild,' asking how someone famous's death can hurt only their family and not others. In response, Allie said she had no idea how to respond to the grieving comments, and she didn't tell anyone how to grieve.
Allie is the younger daughter of Garth and his former wife, Sandy Mahl. The ex-couple also shares two daughters, Taylor and August. Following her father's footsteps, Allie also pursued a career in the music industry and developed her identity as a singer and songwriter.
Someone else in the comments mentioned that it's certain that no one else could feel the grief she might feel with her dad's passing, but surely it will be something that left Garth's fans sad, and losing a parent is always hurtful for everybody, and it's relatable. To this, Allie stated that she couldn't understand the same, as she would never relate to that person losing his/her parents, and vice versa. Allie said:
"I don’t think you will.. I would never relate to you losing your father – I don’t know how you would relate to mine."
