There is a new couple in town! This time it is DJ Akademiks. For those who do not know, DJ Akademiks has often grabbed a lot of attention due to its controversy; however, it's all things personal. DJ has recently sparked dating rumours with model and actress, Daphne Joy, after their cosy photos went viral. Daphne is best-known for her appearance in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

A few hours ago, an X (formerly Twitter) page named Fear Buck shared a few cosy photos of DJ Akademiks and Daphne Joy. It is worth noting that the photos were shared by the streamer on his IG handle. In the snaps, the actress can be seen wearing a brown one-piece with a deep neckline. On the other hand, DJ Akademiks looked dashing in a black shirt and black pants. In the photos, the model was holding a rose and DJ Akademiks was giving her a hug from behind. The post instantly went viral and fans started wondering if they two were dating each other.

Soon after the post, featuring DJ Akademiks and Daphne Joy’s cosy photos went viral, multiple netizens shared their opinions on it. Since the pair has faced a lot of backlash in recent times, not all netizens were in favour of their romance. One user commented, "Akademiks really treats dating like a transfer window. Man scouting report must be absolutely wild." While another user penned, "True love does exist." A third user also shared, "Ak in love." A fourth user wrote, "Ak is gonna fall in love just watch."

When Daphne Joy revealed she would love to go on a date with DJ Akademiks

A few days ago, the model and actress appeared on the Funky Friday podcast, hosted by Cam Newton. During the same, she was asked if she would consider dating the much-loved streamer. And without any hesitation, Daphne said, "It's a, 'I'm ready at 8:00 p.m. right now.'". Further, talking about his looks, she was quoted as saying:

"It's not about the looks. It's about how someone makes you feel. And I think, in a really crazy time, he interviewed me at one of my most, probably, emotionally vulnerable times and he made me laugh."

Over the years, Daphne Joy has often found herself at the center of several controversies. One of the biggest issues happened in 2024 as her name was linked to Sean 'Diddy' Combs.
