Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya is one of the most sorted television actresses. She is famously remembered as 'Ishi Maa', courtesy of her super hit show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. It was during her stint in the show that she met the love of her life, Vivek Dahiya. After dating for a while, the couple tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony in Chandigarh, Punjab. Recently, Divyanka opened up about the time when she was ready to adopt a baby before meeting Vivek.
Recently, in an interview with the Bollywood Bubble, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya opened up about her life before meeting Vivek Dahiya. She revealed that she had a toxic breakup, while she didn't talked about the details. She added that to distract herself from it, she took a lot of work, and during that time she had a fracture. Divyanka further shared that it was her mother, who introduced her to the concept of self-love. She was quoted as saying:
"Meri mummy ne pucha tum khud se pyaar karti ho. Aur meri mummy bade aaj ki jamane ki baat kar rahi thi. She told me bahar kyo dhundna pyaar ko, khud se pyaar karo na."

Divyanka further revealed that after this she and her mum went to a jewellery store to buy an engagement ring. She added that it was a special moment when she learnt the idea of loving myself. The host interrupted her if this happened after her breakup. To this, Divyanka added that she doesn't want to get into her past, but yes it was after that. The actress shared that after this moment she really started loving herself.
Further in the interview, Divyanka talked about self-love and confessed that if she had not met Vivek at that time, she would have adopted a baby. She added, that she was looking for companionship and pure love, which she thought she could have through a baby. Talking about the same, Divyanka said:
"Agar us samay mujhe Vivek nahi mile hote, jo ki theek hai sahi time par mile, I would have actually adopted a baby. Mai vo zone mein jaa rahi thi. I want love and I want to give love. I just wanted a companion, jisko mai utna pyaar de sakun or jo mujhe utna pyaar de sake. And jarruri nahi companionship ek hi prakar ki hone chahiye. Mujhe us samay Mohabbat nahi chahiye thi, mujhe ek baby chahiye the. But things really changed when Vivek entered my life. Pati baccho se kam hai kya."
