Television actress, Divya Agarwal is on the seventh heaven at the moment, as she recently got married to the love of her life and restaurateur, Apurva Padgaonkar on February 20, 2024. The couple, who were fond of celebrating their union in a homely manner, tied the knot in a similar way at their residence in Chembur, Mumbai. For the unversed, the couple exchanged rings back on her 30th birthday on December 6, 2022.
In a recent interaction with ETimes, Divya Agarwal spoke about her first feelings on getting married to the love of her life, Apurva Padgaonkar. The actress remarked feeling surreal all the while, and added that she missed her father terribly all the while. However, Divya also credited her hubby, Apurva for not making her miss her father too much, since he wore the latter’s glasses all throughout the wedding ceremony. In her words:
“It feels surreal… I’ve married the love of my life. I missed my father dearly at the wedding, but Apurva surprised me by wearing his sunglasses throughout the wedding. That was incredibly touching.”

Moving forward in the conversation, Divya Agarwal talked about her low-key, intimate wedding ceremony with Apurva Padgaonkar that took place in her home itself. They got married following traditional Marathi rituals. Talking about the same, the actress remarked that the entire ceremony went exactly the way she had planned it, the highlight of it all being the gorgeous sunset in the background. She said:
“The ceremony was intimate and we were surrounded by our dear ones with a breathtaking sunset as the backdrop. It was beautiful, exactly how we wanted our wedding to be.”
On February 20, 2024, Divya Agarwal sent her fans into a collective meltdown after dropping the much-awaited pictures of her wedding with Apurva Padgaonkar. For their special day, the duo twinned in hues of purple. Speaking about the bride, Divya, she dolled up in an ombre lehenga, that featured shades of purple, pink and black as base shades in different layers. It also featured exquisite floral embroidery. She teamed it with a matching choli and draped her dupatta over her head. The groom, Apurva, on the other hand, sported a matching sherwani-pyjama teamed with a mauve doshala.

In one of her previous interactions with The Times Of India, Divya Agarwal claimed that she already felt like being married to Apurva Padgaonkar. The actress remarked that the manner in which they live together and understand one another, they feel like already being married to one another, and as a result, they do not feel cold feet before ceremoniously tying the knot. In her words:
“The way we live, the way we can live our life together, the way we understand each other, its very much like we are married. And the feeling is amazing. I am 100% sure about what I want to do and it’s just a cake walk, there’s no cold feet, there’s no nervousness of ‘what will happen after my wedding?’ There’s only a beautiful and divine feeling.”
