Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya are riding high in their personal lives. The duo, who got married in 2021, got blessed with a daughter in September 2023. Ever since the arrival of their little one, the madly-in-love duo has left no stone unturned to drop special glimpses of their new journey as parents. Recently, the doting parents hosted a traditional naamkaran ceremony for their baby girl, and announced her name as Navya Vaidya.
In a recent interaction with The Times of India, Disha Parmar opened up about her daughter, Navya and revealed why she chose the name for her. The actress mentioned that from the very first minute she saw her daughter, she instantly caught the name Navya in her mind, and was quite sure of the same. Elaborating more, Disha mentioned:
“We were looking for a girl’s name from the beginning. Although I kept wondering what if we have a boy… we don’t even have a name. When we saw our baby girl, we were so happy and certain about the name Navya. We are glad to share it with everyone now. Rahul and I felt this name is an apt name as soon as we saw her. We said this is it, she’s our Navya. Her name means praiseworthy.”

In the same interaction, Disha spoke about her journey as a mother so far, and mentioned that her joy cannot be expressed in words. She added that she spends most of her time looking at the face of her little one, and shared how she cannot wait for her little one to call her mumma. In her words:
“This is a feeling I can’t express in words. I feel like looking at her all the time. She is going to have a great future, we are going to have a great future with her. I cant wait for the time when we travel together and make good memories. I can’t wait when she smiles at me, runs towards me and calls me mumma. She is the most beautiful girl and the best thing that has happened to us.”
In an earlier interaction with ETimes, Rahul Vaidya had opened up about celebrating his first Diwali as a father, along with his 1.5-month-old daughter. The doting daddy mentioned that their celebration was intimate and filled with love. Moreover, Rahul revealed that his daughter was decked up in a peach-hued dress and had worn jewellery for the first time, that was gifted to her by his parents.

Back on October 20, 2023, Disha Parmar dropped an adorable snapshot with her daughter. In the picture, she could be seen holding her little munchkin in her arms. Sharing the picture, Disha expressed her happiness as her daughter turned one-month-old and penned:
"Happy 1 Month to US!"
