May 25, 2020, marked to be the end of the holy month of Ramadan, and Eid was celebrated as a thanksgiving day after fasting for 30 days from dawn to sunset. Due to pandemic and lockdown, people weren’t able to throw feasts for their loved ones and had exchanged wishes through social media and calls. To mark the end of the month-long fasting of Ramadan, celebrities too, had resorted to home celebrations and wishes on social media. Surely Eid wasn’t the same this year but that didn’t stop people from celebrating it with zeal and warmth confined in their respective homes. Television’s most adored couple, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim and Shoaib Ibrahim celebrated Eid with his family at their Mumbai residence. Dipika had married her Sasural Simar Ka co-star, Shoaib in a nikah ceremony on February 22, 2018, and since then, she had gracefully embraced the cultures and traditions of her husband’s religion.
Dipika Kakar Ibrahim and Shoaib Ibrahim celebrated Eid on May 25, 2020, with his parents and sister at their Mumbai residence. Dipika and Shoaib had twinned in black for the celebrations and had looked mesmerising. Dipika repeated her black ethnic outfit, which she had earlier worn on her first anniversary celebration but with a twist. Using her creativity to its best, Dipika gave her dupatta a beautiful enhancement using some threadwork and by adding a golden border. On February 22, 2019, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had achieved the most-awaited milestone in their marriage as they had completed one year as husband and wife. Dipika and Shoaib had planned a small getaway with their family to celebrate the special day. And it was then when Dipika had worn her black ethnic outfit. Sharing the pictures back then from the cake-cutting ceremony at midnight, Shoaib had written, "Thank you guys for the unconditional love and for all the wishes... We love you a lot!!" Last year on Eid, Shoaib Ibrahim had delighted his fans with an Eid special picture with his beautiful wife, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim and had wished their fans ‘Eid Mubarak’. While Shoaib had looked dapper in a blue kurta and a bandhala jacket, Dipika had mesmerised us in her bright yellow coloured suit. Shoaib and Dipika in one frame are always a treat to eyes!
Eid 2019 was very special for Dipika Kakar Ibrahim and Shoaib Ibrahim, courtesy they had welcomed a new member in their family. Shoaib had always wanted to own a Ducati, a luxury superbike and his dream got fulfilled on Eid. Shoaib couldn’t take his eyes off his new bike, which costs not less than 54 lakh, and he had posed along with his wife, Dipika and sister, Saba with the new arrival. Sharing the good news, Shoaib had written, “The dream that every boy carries has turned into reality for me today!!!!!! Thankyou Allah for everything #ducati #ducatiindia #panigalev4 #ducatiinfinitymumbai.”
In 2018, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had observed her first Ramzan and had celebrated her first Eid post-marriage with her in-laws and husband, Shoaib Ibrahim. But her Eid celebrations didn’t go well with the netizens and soon, people had started targeting her for converting her religion. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Dipika had reacted to the trolls and people, who had targeted her for converting to Islam for marriage. She had said, “Why do I owe an explanation to you for my personal decision? Why do you expect that I will live my life on your terms and conditions? How are you even related to me? Just because I’m an actor and you get to know about my personal life doesn’t give you the right to abuse me or slam me whenever you feel like.
