India's biggest reality show, Bigg Boss is all set to make its comeback on our small screen with its thirteenth season. And while the promos have already captivated us, Bigg Boss 12 winner and television actress, Dipika Kakar takes a trip down the memory lane in her latest Instagram post. Dipika had won millions of hearts with her Bigg Boss stint last year. And in all her interviews, the actress had shared how difficult it was to leave her in-laws, husband and go inside the house for such a long period of time. However, she not only came out as a winner of the show but also maintained her dignity when things got a little overboard inside the house.
On September 15, 2019, Dipika took to her Instagram handle and shared a throwback picture with her husband, Shoaib and talked about the millions of emotions that were running in her mind while the couple was heading for the BB house. She captioned the picture as "A year back!!! This day we were en route the Bigg Boss house! This pic is when we had stopped at the food mall. So may emotions were flooded in my heart at this point, excitement, anxiety and sabse zyaada sadness, because I was going to be away from Shoaib for maybe a week maybe a month maybe 3 months! Just looking at this picture is giving me goosebumps! Time Flies! It's already a year! P.S: I Love You @shoaib2087", followed by a heart emoji. Take a look at the picture below:
In an interview, Dipika had talked about her winning moment and had stated, "I was blank for few moments. And couldn't understand that I have actually won. Salman sir has been joking sometimes lifting my hand and then bhai's hand. When he finally said Dipika has won the show, it finally dawned upon me that okay it's me. It's a feeling that you cannot define in words. When I looked at Shoaib, he went down on his knees to thank God." Dipika had further talked about her journey and had said, "It was very difficult to survive in the house. At every point, people are there to demean you and put you down. Even if you are doing something good, you are questioned. It was especially different for me. I was called fake because of my onscreen character Simar. I have one thing to say to them that one cannot act in such a stressful environment for 106 days. Agar koi itni acting karle to use award milna chahiya (laughs) It's simply not possible. I did not want to prove anything to the housemates. I had this belief that my junta is watching me and I am playing with utmost honesty and fairness."
In an interview with Bollywoodlife, Shoaib had talked about his feelings when Dipika was about to enter the Bigg Boss house. He had shared, "It was very depressing. I remember we were very emotional as we sat in her vanity van hours before she walked in. At one point, I just wanted her to get in as it was unbearable."
