Sasural Simar Ka co-stars, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim had met on the sets of the show and eventually had fallen for each other. On February 22, 2018, Dipika had added ‘Ibrahim’ to her name when she had said ‘Qubool Hai’ to the love of her life, Shoaib and since then, they have loved and embraced each other’s religion and customs wholeheartedly. Dipika shares a warm bond with her mother-in-law and sister-in-law, Saba Ibrahim and she leaves no opportunity to spend time with her in-laws and praise them in her interviews and media interactions. On December 13, 2019, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim posted a picture with her hubby, Shoaib Ibrahim, her sister-in-law, Saba Ibrahim, and her parents-in-law. From what looks like, Dipika and Shoaib took everyone for a lunch outing and they had then posed for a picture-perfect family portrait. Dipika captioned it, “where there is only love @shoaib2087 @saba_ka_jahaan #blessed #alhamdulillah” followed by a heart emoji. To which, Saba commented, “Alhamdulillah.. im blessed..”
A few months post her wedding, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had entered the Bigg Boss house for three months and had emerged as a winner. Marriage should not be the reason why we have to let go of our dreams and careers. It should further empower a person to chase and fulfil their dreams. My family has been such a strong pillar of my strength. It has only made me do wonders in my career.”
Dipika Kakar Ibrahim shares a great bonding with her mother-in-law, and she had confessed in an interview that she is closer to her saasu maa than her hubby, Shoaib Ibrahim. Dipika had also launched her own fashion contour, and had named the brand after her mother-in-law, ‘Sitara’. Talking about the same, Dipika was quoted as saying by a media portal, "The fashion line is named after our Ammi's name and she is the inspiration behind my clothing line. My sister-in-law was the one who gave me the idea to turn into a stylist. She told me since I have a very different and elegant style, I can venture into having a clothing line for girls who can wear the type of clothes you do. I am enjoying playing with fabrics, colours, etc. Earlier, I was doing it only for myself and our family but now I have decided to take it one step further as a business."
