February 22, 2019, is marked as the first wedding anniversary of television’s most beloved and super-filmy couple, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim and Shoaib Ibrahim. Achieving the first milestone in their marriage, Shoaib and Dipika completed one year as husband and wife. Shoaib’s sister, Saba Ibrahim shared some glimpses of the celebrations, and among those, our favourite is the video in which ghulam, Shoaib dances for his joru, Dipika. Saba captioned it, "The song says it all #proudofyoubhai @shoaib2087 @ms.dipika #mashaAllah".
Celebrating the first year of marital bliss, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had a romantic photo shoot. Shoaib and Dipika looked like a vision in white ensembles. Sharing pictures from the same, Dipika wrote, “Yesssss its been a year of the most precious day of my life... of being Mrs Dipika Kakar Ibrahim.... and my world has bloomed with love ever since!!! Be Ready Guys The Celebration beginssssss!!!!!”
Shoaib Ibrahim also shared some pictures with a heartfelt anniversary wish for his jaana, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim. He captioned the photos as, “One year down... forever to go.. thankyou dipi for coming in my life.. and making me the person i am today.. u are my teacher, best friend, love, wife and my life. I had never thought that someone can love me this much. No one understands me better than you. Mera bachpana, mera pagalpan, meri sharartein, aur kabhi kabhi mera gussa.. and i promise you i will always love u and protect you, aur humesha khush rakhunga.. After their 2018 wedding, Shoaib and Dipika shared fun series of pictures on their respective Instagram handles, the lovebirds captioned them with the ‘unofficial wedding vows’ that they want to promise each other. The pictures comprise of Dipika and Shoaib doing the daily chores such as going for a bike ride together, brushing their teeth together, cleaning their house together, cooking together, Dipika giving tiffin to Shoaib while he goes for work, taking care of each other through thick and thin and through sickness and in health, and finally just being there for each other. Captioning the above post, Dipika and Shoaib wrote, “Some unofficial marriage vows!!! Smallest things are the most important. In an interview with The Indian Express, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim and Shoaib Ibrahim talked about their relationship. When they were asked as to what they love, hate and tolerate about each other, Dipika replied, “I love about him is the way he carries his relationships be it with his family, with his friends, you know. He just takes them together and walks ahead. So, that is what I love about him.” Adding further, she said, “What I hate about him is not something that I would like to discuss about openly. And what I tolerate about him is his phone. Kabhi mujhe mauka mile na to main ise dustbin mein daal ke aa jaungi. I tolerate this about him definitely.”
On the same lines, Shoaib was quoted as saying, “Love, puri. Hate kya bolu, ye jab b mujhe irritate karti hai na tab. Kbahi kabhi mera man hota hai Dipika nahi yar. Tolerate ka iska aisa kuch bhi nai hai. Ye kabhi koi aisi cheez nai karti hai. Lekin haan kabhi kabhi iska gussa. Thora sa”. Dipika interrupted and said, “Ab to nai hoga.
