It was on February 22, 2018, that Dipika Kakar had added an ‘Ibrahim’ to her surname when she said ‘Qubool Hai’ to her co-star-cum-lover, Shoaib Ibrahim. From their pre-wedding functions to the reception, Dipika and Shoaib had made our hearts swoon and had already given us a glimpse about what a great life they are signing up for. With her own will, Dipika has changed her religion and celebrates Eid and similar festivals with immense fervour. Also, not to mention, every picture and post that the duo share with one another never fails to garner quite a few “They look so good together”, “What is the success of their relationship?” and “I want somebody to love me like that (both ways)”, every now and then!
The latest picture that Dipika Kakar Ibrahim and Shoaib Ibrahim have stolen our hearts is their, what looks like it, morning selfie. As Shoaib leaned on to a rod for his morning selfie, Dipika held onto ‘her pillar’, hubby Shoaib, as they posed for a perfect ‘we woke up like this selfie’ with a crisp caption. The adorable picture was worded as “You and me make a wonderful “WE””. To this, Dipika’s nanad, Saba had commented, “Ma sha Allah”. Here’s the picture:
It was Diwali on October 27, 2019 and while we all were busy spending the festival with our loved ones, two posts from Dipika Kakar Ibrahim and Shoaib Ibrahim respectively, wishing everyone on Diwali made us all gaga! The pictures had Dipika dressed up in a red and orange kurta, with dangling jhumkas in her ears, happily smiling and posing with her dapper hubby, Shoaib, who too, had looked amazing in a white pathani. While Dipika had captioned the pictures as “Wish you all a Very Happy Diwali from Us!!!”, Shoaib had written, “Aap sabko Diwali ki hardik shubhkamnayein." The year 2019 has been treating Dipika Kakar Ibrahim real good! Not only was she declared the winner of Bigg Boss 12 but had also made her big comeback on television with her show, Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum as the female lead. But do you know who she owes for her tremendous success? Her in-laws! In an interview with the IANS, Dipika had shared, “I feel I am blessed when it comes to maintaining a work-life balance, given the kind of hectic work we do and the demanding nature of the industry we are in. I have been married for almost two years and I wouldn't have been able to do this without the unflinching support from Shoaib, Saba (sister-in-law) and Ammi."
Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had also stated that marriage should be like a springboard for a person and not a backseat. She had revealed, “I also feel everyone should have the right to speak up and do what they love irrespective of their gender. Marriage should not be the reason why we have to let go of our dreams and careers. It should further empower a person to chase and fulfil their dreams. My family has been such a strong pillar of my strength.
