On Easter Eve i.e., April 11, 2020, Dimpy Ganguly had announced that she and her hubby, Rohit Roy had embraced parenthood for the second time and are proud parents to a baby boy. Dimpy and Rohit have a soon-to-be four-year-old daughter, Reanna Roy and now, their little one has been promoted to ‘big sister’. Announcing the arrival of the little one, Dimpy had written, “Born on the eve of Easter..my little Bunny Blue is here! Aryaan Roy 11.04.2020.”
A while back, Dimpy Ganguly posted the first-ever partial glimpse of their little bundle of joy as he rested in his daddy’s arms. As big sister, Reanna couldn’t stop admiring her baby brother, the moment captured by Dimpy is nothing less than a frame-worthy picture. Captioning the sweet moment, Dimpy wrote, “My world #blessed” followed by a heart.
On November 30, 2019, Dimpy Ganguly had taken to her Instagram to give her fans the ‘good news’ and had shared first pictures of her flaunting her baby bump from her second pregnancy. Along with the pictures, Dimpy had written, "Being a mother has been one of my biggest achievements and I wear it like a badge because I take my job very seriously. I am giving a shape to the future generation, and I feel responsible for it. My role as a nurturer has paid me back in ways I couldn't even imagine. Describing how the first trimester of her second pregnancy came with its own struggles and has been a difficult one for her, Dimpy Ganguly had continued, "The beginning of this pregnancy came along with various hurdles; relocation with a child, while the husband had to be away most of the time because of more responsibilities at work, hunting for a house, a nursery, a school, an ob-gyn a pediatrician, a hospital all in the first trimester with nausea like never before! But as they say fortune favors the brave, we have been fortunate enough to finally get all that we wanted because we dared to dream and only one word comes to mind - gratitude. Thankful for all the good that touch us everyday! Hope we all can see and admire all that's truly good and happy in our lives instead of focusing on what's not. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!"
Married to her childhood friend and a Dubai-based businessman, Rohit Roy, Dimpy Ganguly had happily welcomed love for the second time in her life. It was in 2015, when Dimpy and Rohit had embarked on their journey of ‘happily ever after’ and to make their journey even more special, they were blessed with a baby girl in 2016, whom they named Reanna Roy. Four years later, Dimpy and Rohit have experienced the joy of parenthood once again and their family of three is now a family of four!
In an interview with The Times of India, Dimpy Ganguly had revealed how destiny played the role in her love story with Rohit Roy. She had remarked, “We were from different schools and would meet only during fests, but we could never talk about our feelings for each other. And then, I moved on. Strangely, I bumped into him in Dubai in 2013, almost a decade later, and that's when we confessed our feelings to each other. I couldn't believe that the guy who I crushed on, liked me too. The innocent school charm brought us closer, apart from the fact that we belonged to Kolkata. After I moved out of the city, my parents bought a new house which turned out to be just a few kilometres away from Rohit's house.
