In an interview with the Mid-Day, television actress, Sukirti Kandpal revealed that she has frozen her eggs and talked about her big decision. The actress revealed this when she labelled herself as an independent woman. The actress was also asked whether she will start a family without a partner in future or not. To this, Sukirti said, “I have already frozen my eggs. But I have not yet considered whether I want to start a family without a partner. At the moment, my focus is only on my career. Going further in her interview, Sukirti Kandpal revealed that in her latest television show, Story 9 Months Ki, she is portraying the character of a woman named, Alia Shroff, who has decided to become a mother without a partner and start a family of her own through IVF. The actress said, “The story revolves around a couple who cannot get pregnant and opt for IVF, or around a young girl who gets pregnant. Here, Alia [her character] decides to embrace motherhood as a single woman. Since it is a daily soap, there will be an extended backstory to explain.”
Last year in an interview with the ETimes, Sukirti Kandpal had announced her intention of freezing her eggs. When she was promoting her show, Story 9 Months Ki, the actress had revealed that she wants to achieve all her dreams before becoming a mother. She had stated, “I can speak only for myself, and currently, marriage or starting family is not on my mind. But as a woman, I do want to experience motherhood, just that it need not be time-bound. I don’t mind freezing my eggs for the future.
