Dia Mirza on Samaira's equation with Avyaan

When Dia was asked about the equation between her 1-year-old son, Avyaan, and her 13-year-old step-daughter, Samaira, she shared that her baby boy loves old music and his curiosity gets his elder sister. Sharing deets about Avyaan's choice of songs, the doting mommy said:

“There’s so much about Avyaan’s curiosity that gets Samaira. She keeps saying ‘how does he like old music?’ I just say ‘we give him everything, from classics to contemporary. He is just the way he is, what do we do? He asks for it, and we play’. He loves Strangers In The Night by Frank Sinatra and then Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke by Kishore Kumar. He says ‘Alexa Hum Hain, Alexa Na Na Na.’”

The Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein actress revealed that her kids have already started fighting over playing music in the car. Calling it great fun to watch, Dia shared that Samaira hates to listen to the same songs again and again, which Avyaan likes. However, the doting mommy also added that sometimes things get super challenging and stated:

“They have already started fighting about playing whose music in the car. He would say ‘Na Na’. and Samaira would be like ‘No, Avyaan I can’t bear to hear the song one more time'. But, every day is not all laugh. It’s hard work and super challenging. But it’s such a great thing to see their bond, it’s just the best thing in the world.”

On the work front, Dia Mirza will be next seen in Anurag Kashyap’s film, Bheed.
