Kim Seok Woo, aka Rowoon, has become one of the fan-favourite rom-com leading actors with his impeccable acting in the recently concluded K-drama, Destined With You. Fans have become deeply invested in the enchanting romance between Rowoon and Jo Bo Ah in their series. The romantic drama comprises 16 episodes and is available on Netflix.
The show has received massive appreciation for its concluding episode, setting a new record. According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of Destined With You achieved an exceptional nationwide average rating of 3.122 per cent, marking a remarkable milestone for the series.

The male protagonist of the show, Rowoon is a multi-talented artist from the South Korean showbiz. He is a former member of the popular boy band, SF9 and has made a name for himself in the industry as a singer, actor, and model. As an actor, he is well-known for his impressive performances in several television dramas including Extraordinary You, A Time Called You, Tomorrow, She Would Never Know, The King's Affection, and Destined With You.
It is no secret that South Korean celebrities are very tight-lipped when it comes to their private life. Likewise, Rowoon kept his silence about his love and dating life for the longest time. However, he once revealed that he had been in a relationship in the past. In January 2020, he appeared as a guest on KBS's Happy Together along with the K-pop girl group, Red Velvet member, Joy. This was shortly after SF9's comeback with their first studio album, First Collection.
The host of the show asked Rowoon what inspired their title track, and while talking about the same, he opened up about his past relationship. Before his debut, Rowoon had a girlfriend who happened to be his first love. He even revealed what kind of a boyfriend he was to her. Rowoon stated:
"I had a girlfriend before I made my debut and I thought of my memories with her. She was my first love. She's the person I loved the most during my 24 years of life."

During the same interview, the Korean actor-singer was asked whether he was a devoted and attentive boyfriend when he was in a relationship. Rowoon confirmed this by sharing a story about how he took care of his ex-girlfriend while she was unwell. He mentioned:
"When I heard she was sick, I brewed some tea and brought it to her."
Everyone was amazed by his effort to deliver the tea, where Rowoon had to travel almost 15 km. He lived near Samseong Station, while his ex-girlfriend lived in Bundang. To reach her, he had to take a bus. In addition to tea, the Destined With You actor also delivered her porridge that he personally made. He concluded by saying:
"Anyone would do that for the person they love."
Rowoon mentioned that he had a girlfriend before his debut, however, he did not share the reason for their breakup in the interview. As of now, there's no confirmation if Rowoon is dating anyone. However, there were rumours about him and his Extraordinary You co-star, Kim Hye Yoon, who played his girlfriend in the drama. Their on-screen chemistry and off-camera sweet moments sparked speculation that they were a couple in real life. Nonetheless, neither of them addressed the rumours, and their agencies remained silent. Therefore, the rumours remained unverified.
And as for the K-pop idol, Rowoon’s ideal type, he prefers someone who is tall, which might be because he is tall himself. Rowoon wants someone who is bubbly, hardworking, kind-hearted, and able to communicate well.
