Deepika Singh rose to fame with her acting stint as 'Sandhya' in the television show, Diya Aur Baat Hum. The actress gave a lot of inspiration with her portrayal of 'Sandhya' who wanted to study after marriage. She had won many awards, but she took a break from TV as she got pregnant with her first child, Soham. After which, she returned to the small screen with her show, Kawach Mahashivratri.
For the unversed, Deepika Singh tied the knot with Rohit Raj Goyal, who is a director by profession, in May 2014. The couple embraced parenthood in 2017. Deepika marked her Bollywood debut with her film, Titu Ambani, and fans love her performance in it.

Recently, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Deepika recalled the hard time she has faced when she was a child. The actress was the eldest of her four siblings and had seen the struggles of her parents closely. Deepika recalled the time when her father was bankrupt and the principal of her school had used cruel words for her, which forced her to do something big.
She said:
"I was observing that because of our financial crisis, the fees for the school bus are not being paid. My principal at Airforce school told me that 'agar aapke bas ki nahi hai to itne bade school mein kyun aate ho (Why do you come to such a big school if you can't afford it). That gave me a kick that I want to do something so big that this school regrets it later."
Earlier, in an interview with The Times of India, Deepika Singh had recalled that her husband, Rohit has forced her to kickstart her acting career after a maternity break. In fact, he was the one, who had left his project to stay with their son, so that she could join television. Talking about the same, Deepika shared that her son stays with his daddy when she is out shooting.
