However, now as she dropped some BTS pictures from the Oscars 2023, internet users trolled Deepika for sharing the glimpses just before her ex-boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor's wife, Alia Bhatt's Met Gala debut.
On May 1, 2023, Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram handle and dropped a series of glimpses from the 95th Academy Awards. Sharing the BTS pictures, the gorgeousness gave a glimpse of all that goes on backstage. In one of the pictures, Deepika can be seen practising her lines before introducing the Oscar winning song, Natu Natu on the stage. Along with the pictures, she penned a small note, which can be read as:
"And the rest is history."

In the following picture, we can see Deepika taking notes from the award show's director. In another photo, the diva can be seen walking on the stage. For the unversed, Deepika looked mesmerising at the Oscars as she donned a black-coloured off-shoulder velvet gown. She accentuated her look with matching hand gloves, a diamond necklace, dewy makeup and a low bun.
Soon after Deepika posted BTS pictures from the Oscars, internet users flooded the comment section of the post with their witty reactions. While many even appreciated the actress for making the country proud, some even took a dig at the actress for sharing photos just before her ex-boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor's wifey, Alia Bhatt's Met Gala debut. Reacting to her pictures, one of the social media users wrote, "Why are you posting so called Oscar pic and sharing met Gala look just before Alia's met Gala debut". Another user commented, "How can be a woman being so insecure Alia ka debut hua nhi met Gala ka ye limelight lene aa gyi Oscar met Gala leke." One more user reacted to the pictures and wrote, "Insecurity."
For the unversed, Alia Bhatt is all set to make her Met Gala debut. The actress will be wearing a specially designed outfit by the New York-based designer, Prabal Gurung, for the event. A few hours ago, a photo of Alia posing with the designer ahead of her Met Gala went viral on the internet. In the picture, the gorgeousness can be seen donning a black-coloured dress which she teamed with a matching hued blazer. On the other hand, the designer, Prabal aced the denim-on-denim look.

Well, this is not the first time when internet users have trolled Deepika. Every now and then, they find something or the other to question the actress for her actions. For instance, on December 11, 2022, Alia had posted two beautiful pictures of herself flaunting her post-pregnancy glow on her IG handle. Soon, Deepika had reacted to Alia's picture and wrote a hilarious comment indicating her skincare brand, Eighty-two East's one of the products. However, Deepika's comment on Alia's post didn't go well with the netizens, and they massively trolled the former.
