Since the day you get married, all you wait for are the firsts in your life, be it the first festivals or first birthdays, anniversary. You start planning in advance for what you’ll wear, where you’ll go and how you’ll surprise your spouse on the special day. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh became each other’s forever on November 14-15, 2018, and since then, they have been giving the world some major relationship goals. Looking at DeepVeer in one frame, there are no two ways about the fact that both look like a match made-in-heaven!
Just a few hours from now, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will complete one year of marital bliss and the forever-excited husband has already started the preparations to celebrate the most special day of his life. Deepika took to her Instagram and gave a glimpse of how her darling hubby is preparing for their first anniversary. Deepika posted an Insta story wherein Ranveer could be seen with a face-pack applied all over and she wrote, “in preparation for his first wedding anniversary…! @ranveersingh” atop it.
If a Hindustan Times report is to be believed, to mark their first anniversary, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will be flying to Andhra Pradesh to seek blessings at Tirupati temple and Padmavathi temple with their family and will then head to Amritsar to visit the Golden Temple. Deepika and Ranveer along with their family will head back to Mumbai on November 15, 2019. We can’t wait to see how Ranveer and Deepika will wish each other on social media and the pictures from their first anniversary celebrations.
There have been many 'firsts' in Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s life post her marriage. But we bet, one of the most special ‘firsts’ of this beauty’s life was Ganesh Chaturthi 2019. Deepika had celebrated her first Ganesh Chaturthi looking drop-dead gorgeous in traditional wear. Paparazzi had clicked her as she had gone to offer her prayers at the famous, Lalbaugcha Raja on September 11, 2019. Deepika had worn a beige saree, which had a wide golden-lacy border and a high-neck silver blouse. She had complemented her look with heavy danglers, minimal makeup as the rock on her ring finger shone almost blurred us for a moment! Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding was an extremely private affair and until the evening of November 15, 2018, we all were anxiously waiting to catch a glimpse of them as bride and groom. With the very first set of pictures that had dropped in from Deepika and Ranveer’s Konkani and Sindhi weddings and later, an array of pictures from their pre-wedding and other rituals, most of us had lost our heartbeats for a nanosecond!
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had given us ‘couple twinning’ goals ever since they had headed off to Italy for their wedding in 2018. After coming back from Italy, Ranveer and Deepika had visited Siddhivinayak Temple, Mumbai, to seek blessings from God. The then-newbie husband and wife were accompanied by their parents, Prakash Padukone-Ujjala Padukone and Jugjeet Singh-Anju Bhavnani and their respective sisters, Anisha Padukone and Ritika Bhavnani. Deepika had looked graceful in a beige-coloured kurta with a heavy embroidered dupatta which she had accentuated with a half-tied hairstyle and chaandbali earrings. Ranveer had complemented and twinned with his wife in a beige-coloured kurta-pyjama set with a matching jacket and jootis.
In an interview with the Femina, Ranveer had answered the most sought-after query about their married life. When asked if he and his wifey fight, the doting hubby had blatantly replied, “We don’t fight.” Revealing an unknown characteristic about his lady, Deepika Padukone, he had remarked, “There is a child-like quality to her that nobody other than me has the privilege of seeing. It’s a precious part of my life.”
In an interview with the Filmfare, Deepika Padukone had poured her heart out and had spoken about having a permanent roommate like Ranveer Singh. She had stated, “It’s beautiful living together. I’m sure cynics will say you’ve just gotten married to him, wait for 15 years or 25 years. We’ll figure it out then. For now, it’s the best feeling in the world. I looked forward to living together because I moved out of home at a young age to start working. A lot of my friends used to say we can’t wait to get out of our house. I was the opposite. I got out young. I craved for my family. When we were dating, it was about spending time with his family or going to Bangalore to be with my parents. I’d crave that quality time where you wake up in the morning and have someone to talk to while you’re having breakfast.
