Valentine's Week is on-going and tomorrow, on February 14, 2019, many Romeos will propose their Juliets. Some must have planned something and some must be eagerly waiting for a surprise. One such pair of lovebirds is Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh who will ring in their first Valentine's Day tomorrow, post-marriage. Wondering how these two are going to spend their Valentine's Day? Well, a journalist recently asked Deepika about the same and she shared her plans. She was quoted as saying, "I think to watch the movie, Gully Boy, and my parents are going to be in the town so I will spend the day with them." Wow! Watching your hubby's film! This would be such a treat for him.
Ranveer Singh's upcoming film, the Zoya Akhtar directorial, Gully Boy is all set to hit the silver screens on Valentine's Day on Feb 14, and the V-day will witness DeepVeer watching the same with their parents. Last month, during the teaser launch of the film, when a journalist asked Ranveer how did Deepika like the trailer, the newbie hubby had shared, “Trailer unhone dekhi nahi hai. Teaser dekha toh bohot pasand aaya. It was a very novel approach. Zoya madam ne khud apne haathon se kaata hai. She loved the teaser and she is very proud of me.”
Ranveer later shared with Pinkvilla, Deepika's reaction on watching the trailer of Gully Boy. He had retorted, "She loved it. She absolutely loved it. She is very proud of me. That kind of reaction from her is rare for me and she is very proud of what I have achieved in my profession."
Both Ranveer and Deepika never shy away from praising each other publicly or on social media. Deepika Padukone recently launched her own website, and there you would find a letter of reverence written by Ranveer for Deepika. The letter could be read as, “Deepika is the most amazing person I’ve met in my life. And I’m not just saying this because she’s my wife. It continues with the heartfelt words, “I can safely say I’m the closest person to her in this world. I know her deeply as a person and I’ve collaborated closely with her as a professional. Deepika nurtures a universe within herself: of love, compassion, kindness, intelligence, beauty, grace and empathy. These qualities make her a true and authentic artiste- she’s one of the finest actors in the world. In her dealings, she is straight-shooting, sharp and fair – an absolute and thoroughly professional. She’s got inner strength, resilience, grit and an iron-will. Her discipline and commitment are unparalleled. Her path-breaking achievements have changed the game time and again. A woman so righteous and full of virtue, that she commands respect.”
The letter finally concludes with these statements, “I sometimes stop and admire her, aware that she is a special soul, born for greatness. She’s born to positively impact lives through the shining beacon of her virtuous being. That she preserves a vulnerable and innocent, childlike side of herself exclusively for me is inexplicably gratifying. I am the proudest husband in the world. She inspires me to be the best man I can possibly be. She makes my life worth living. She is truly the light of my life.”
Deepika recently did an interview with Filmfare and spoke how amazing it is to have Ranveer as her permanent roommate and as a hubby. She had stated, “It’s beautiful living together. I’m sure cynics will say you’ve just gotten married to him, wait for 15 years or 25 years. We’ll figure it out then. For now, it’s the best feeling in the world. I looked forward to living together because I moved out of home at a young age to start working. A lot of my friends used to say we can’t wait to get out of our house. I was the opposite. I got out young. I craved for my family. When we were dating, it was about spending time with his family or going to Bangalore to be with my parents. I’d crave that quality time where you wake up in the morning and have someone to talk to while you’re having breakfast.
