Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have been all over the news for some time now, courtesy of their appearance on the first episode of Koffee With Karan season 8. The duo was massively trolled for their shocking revelation about their relationship and married life. And now, amid the KWK fiasco, Ranveer and Deepika made their first public appearance on October 31, 2023. The couple was spotted at the launch of Jio World Plaza hosted by the Ambanis.
In a video doing rounds on social media, Deepika and Ranveer were seen twinning in black as they made an exit from the star-studded event. Deepika looked elegant in a body-hugging black leather dress featuring thin straps, whereas Ranveer looked dapper in a black blazer teamed with matching pants. The duo was spotted hand in hand as they made a stylish appearance together. Ranveer escorted Deepika to their car, before bidding farewell to the Ambani family.

Now that the video is going viral on the internet, netizens are simply in awe of Deepika and Ranveer's chemistry. It so happened that during her appearance on Koffee With Karan 8, Deepika Padukone shed some light on her dating days with Ranveer Singh and revealed that she didn't commit to him until he proposed to her, due to her difficult past relationships. Talking about their casual relationship, the actress said that even if they were seeing other people, they would keep coming back to each other. Deepika further shared that whenever she met other people, at the back of her head, she knew she was committed to Ranveer.

While Deepika and Ranveer didn't react to the trolling, the show's host, Karan Johar seemingly addressed the trolling the couple is receiving for their latest appearance on KWK. On October 29, 2023, the host of Koffee With Karan Season 8, hosted an Instagram Live session to talk about the buzz around the eighth season of his show. During the session, the filmmaker tried to teach the trolls a lesson and slammed them by indirectly stating the negative impacts of trolling. Karan said:
“Do what you need to do because no one’s looking. Trolling gets you nowhere. You are landing nowhere.”
