A sister is a blessing yet a pain who never stopped nagging and irritating us. Remember when we were young and silly, we cannot even think of someone else loving our sisters more than us. And then, in a blink of an eye, we grew up and they were all set to make their own world. That’s when our jijus came in, and we instantly bonded. Well, a kind of similar bond is shared between Deepika Padukone’s sister Anisha Padukone and her jiju, Ranveer Singh. Before we take you further into the story, let us give you a throwback of Bollywood’s favourite love story. When our bindaas prince, Ranveer met ever-so-charming, Deepika at the Zee Cine Awards in Macau, he felt the sparks in her eyes and butterflies in his heart. In an interview, reminiscing about their first meeting, Ranveer had said, “I almost went flat!” And when a Twitter fan had asked him how he remembered what she was wearing, the actor wrote, “How can one possible forget that sight?”
On April 24, 2019, Deepika treated us with a cutesy picture with her husband, Ranveer and sister Anisha. In the picture, we can see the sassy trio hugging cuddling and snuggling, and she captioned the picture as, “cuddles & snuggles! smashed in the middle”. Take a look at it below:
Recently, in an interview with Open Magazine, Deepika had talked about the thing that drew her to Ranveer. She had revealed, “When we started dating six years ago, I was more successful than him, busier than him, making more money. I’ve never come across a man who is so comfortable with my success and the attention I was getting. He was supportive and encouraging of my career and it wasn’t superficial support. That doesn’t happen with many men. He really cared, and I don’t think our relationship would have lasted if not for how he inherently felt about my world and how much he respected it. Earlier, in a post-marriage interview with Pinkvilla, Deepika had opened about her relationship with Ranveer, and had shared, “Over a period of time because it's the small things that he did and the little things that he said which made me believe and feel more and more that he's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. The foundation of our relationship is just solid friendship and for any successful relationship, that's very essential. It started off on that note right from the beginning and over the years that we have dated, it only became stronger and stronger. Over a period of time, I don't think there was that one definite moment.”
In another interview with GQ magazine, Deepika had talked about her equation with Ranveer Singh and had said, “With Ranveer and me, our relationship rests on the fact that we’re extremely liberal with each other, extremely supportive of each other’s professional careers and know each other’s personal needs. I think when we started dating six years ago, professionally, we were both in very different places.
